Don't judge this book by it's cover. In fact, for most people who Know where to find Great Mexican food its often going to in small family run businesses like this one!! We've come multiple times for lunch and not once have had a complaint worth mentioning. They're chips & salsa are the da Bomb! Chips are bubbly crunchy and the salsa is just the right level of Hot while still tasty. I've tried a large majority of the menu by now, but Highly Recommend the following dishes: Beef Fajita Tacos plate - Outstanding! Beef fajitas are cooked to perfection..moist, melt in your mouth, well seasoned, served with grilled onions & bell peppers. The plate is also complete with rice, beans, & salad. Extra tortillas on request. Menudo - Great flavor. Not too much hominy, huge bowl served with corn tortillas & freshly chopped onions. Barbacoa Tacos: Greasy, yes. Tasty, Hell yes. Moist, greasy but not dreached with grease, yes there is a difference, and covered with fresh cilantro & chopped onions. The Taco itself is a big one, not necessarily huge but Two can be a whole meal in itself. Service is Always Excellent! Waiters are always friendly and helpful with the menu. Prices are Cheap! Great lunch specials too!!

The crab cakes Benedict is the most delicious breakfast item I have had in a long time. The hollandaise is a tad too citrusy at times, but overall it's a good experience. If you come in on a weekend make sure to show up early or be ready to wait for awhile. They often leave coffee and mugs outside for those waiting for tables though, which is a nice touch :).

Our server was rude from the start. When someone in my party tried to tell her how the bills would be split, just attempting to be helpful, she interrupted him and said she'd split them later. She took our drink orders and brought them. And then left us alone for 20 minutes, every glass at the table empty. We saw her a couple times for other tables but she never stopped back for us until after we got our food. I went to the bartender and said since our server is ignoring us, could she please refill my drink. She was very nice and accommodating and asked if there was anything else I needed. Shortly after that, I guess her name is Anne (5537) according to the receipt, seemed to be more observant to our needs, filling everyone's drinks. I don't know if the bartender told her or not that I said we were being ignored. She offered to fill my soda. Not only was it warm, despite being poured over the ice left in my glass, it was flat. I've never had someone bring me warm flat soda before, this was a first. A disgusting first. There was a soda fountain right next to our table. And she brings us a jug of warm flat soda. My boyfriend's water that she brought for him was also warm and melted all of his ice within a minute or so. I don't even know what we did to deserve this kind of treatment. Half of us are in our 30s, there were a couple younger people at the table. Maybe she thought we were young and wouldn't tip her well and weren't worth her attention. Maybe she saw that our group had 7 people and our gratuities would be added in automatically so she didn't have to work for it. Either way, how we were treated was unacceptable. I hardly ever complain, I'm not hard to please. I don't have high expectations. But Anne had no intention of meeting even bare minimum expectations. When I emailed this complaint, there was a box to mark how I preferred to be contacted, I said email. They called and then emailed when I didn't answer. I'm not really a phone person, I said I preferred email. Why is that an option if they're going to disregard that? They tell me to call them so I do, maybe I'll at least get a refund for the horrible experience? Nope. They just wanted to apologize over the phone. Didn't matter that I said I didn't want to be contacted over the phone. Ridiculous.

Delicious vegetarian bao, but woefully understuffed (ie too much dough) every time. The meat items are better balanced. Very, very good fillings, but just OK dough.

PIZZA WAS AMAZING. Small restaurant, and average service, but of the multiple pizzas my party tried, the Fig & Prosciutto pizza was to die for. Indescribable flavor, definitely recommend.
