Two of us went to gators for dinner at 7:30 pm Sat night. There was a wait so we decided to sit at bar. When we sat down it was clear that a few people had a few too many drinks. Only obvious because of the over the top repeatedly loud foul words. I'm no prude and just tried to not pay them any attention. The guy became louder and using the worse lauguage you ever heard repeatedly and the bartenders did nothing. He is loudly describing his examination of a female in full detail, the bartenders did nothing. The group all laughed and made the announcement they were all in the medical field. the bartenders still did nothing. Kids were directly behind them. I was at the end, a distance away and heard them clearly. The man next to my husband asked them to stop that he was trying to eat and it only provoke them more. Still bartenders did nothing. I couldn't finish my dinner and when the bartender asked why I told her and she then goes straight to the group. I don't know what she said but when I went to leave the woman in the group verbally attacked me and when I yelled back she said for me do "do something about it". Bartenders, management.....did nothing. It was much worse than I have put in words but my point is the restaurant did absolutely nothing. I asked for the manager, at this point I was close to tears. After 5 MINUTES he comes and of course is apologizing. I just wanted him to know since he obviously never walked by the bar or he would have positively heard. Who knows, maybe he did hear. I will NEVER go back. The staff and management had well over an hour to stop this over the top, foul, horrible loud talk disrespecting every female part and clearly the hate of women.

3 1/2 Stars. I came here with my coworkers for a going-away lunch. I'm not a beer drinker so for the many times I've passed this place by, it was never on my mind to actually try it. However, I'm glad I did. It was busy for lunch but I can only imagine it being super crazy on a weekend night. We had a large party of 15 but fortunately we called ahead and they had a table for us. The decor was nice but nothing special for a trendy Yaletown restaurant. I've read that the servers can be bitches here. However, our server was super pleasant. Her name is Lauren. I had the Steak Salad Fiorentina. The portions were a nice size and the steak was cooked nicely. My coworker next to me had the Salmon Nicoise and it looked yummy too. Since it was a Friday and a goodbye luncheon, I decided to get a Mojito. It was so good that I ended up getting another one. And I was happily looped when I got back to my desk. But then it went away within an hour :( One more thing about Lauren, our server... When the giant bill came for all 15+ of us, she mentioned that a 14% tip was added automatically for the group because of our size. I've been to many places with a large group and the server never tell us about the gratuity added because they want us to tip them ON TOP of it. She not only mentioned it once, but multiple times as she went down the table to other members of our group. I was impressed by that and gave her a 25% tip. I would come back here but not solo. And probably never on a weekend night.

"Their big is our small" is a perfect description of their portion sizes. I recommend the chicken cutlet with buffalo sauce. Great portions, very filling and very fresh!

Went to the grand opening last night with a friend and had a great time! The rooftop area is really nice, lots of places to sit, some inside and some out on the open top area. We had a few snacks, the tomatillo salsa and guacamole was really good. Their wine selection only has canned wines and they just have a few, the beer list is pretty good with both draft and can options. The only thing we didn't really care for were the frozen drinks. They have a frose that is REALLY sweet and doesn't have that good wine taste to it. It really tastes like a daiquiri with an everclear topper (yes they put everclear on top so it's definitely strong). They also had another pina colada one that the bartender let us try, they said it had mezcal in it but you can't taste it because it's just so syrupy and sweet tasting. Worth trying for the atmosphere and for a few drinks, just steer clear of the frozen drinks!

I passed by this new restaurant few times when I shopping at Oakridge mall and found they're so busy during lunch time. I heard they're very pricey, average dim sim and ok service. Even though there are some negative comments, I'm still gonna try it coz it's so close to my house! I made the rsvn on Sun at 11.30 am on Friday afternoon, however, the hostess told me the rsvn was passed and it made at 10.30 am instead. I asked how could it be that I repeated the time and people for rsvn before I hung up and I got it confirmed. Anyway, we got the table after 1/2 hour waited. Small restaurant and the tables are overoccupied! Not too many dim sims selection on the sheet and most of dim sims average price at $6.8 for small dish which at least 25%-30% more than other restaurant! Chef Special average price at $12.8 which 25% more!! Dumpling with fish maw and sea cucumber in superior soup - $13 for this dumpling with a tiny piece of fish maw and a quarter of sea cucumber kind of that's reasonable. But, the soup base wasn't good. Steamed spareribs - not impressive at all Steamed chicken feet - Full flavour of chicken feet but not outstanding. Steamed chicken and dry scallops sticky rice wrapped - perfectly cooked with sticky rice Deep fried garlic prawns egg rolls - quite crispy and looked beautiful Steamed pome and vegetable dumplings - it's delicious Deep fried tentacles squid - it's tasty and not too greasy. Steamed minced beef rice roll - It looked nice it presented on curly rice rolls and so smooth. Honestly, I don't mind to pay a bit more to get better quality of food or top notch service. Unfortunately, none of the criteria they meet but they charged for all. Sorry.... I only come when I need the convenience dim sim
