Word of warning, this is a mixed review. The food is 5 stars. definitely worth going. and eating. Naan is a must (three cheese), and then the Korna curry was the best out of the four we ordered. also the atmosphere of the place is great- we saw so many people on dates !!! It's actually huge inside, great for large parties or fams. However, it took a veeeeerrrrryyy loonnngggg time for us to get our food. I've heard this from other reviews. And we made a reservation. The prices are fairly high but it's Zagat rated yatta yatta so they know they're all that. But the wait time + prices diminished the greatness of the food we were tasting. I had a gift card which saved the day and made everyone enjoy the meal to it's full capacity. I recommend getting people gift cards to here.

Wife and I went to this heavenly eatery on a Friday afternoon around 12:15pm...We thought the line was going to be long, however, we were ordering our food within about 25 mins. Absolutely, positively worth the wait. It is set up cafeteria style, with self serve sides in different sizes first, then you move onto the meats that are placed next to where you pay for your meal. Mac and Cheese was out of this world, and the rice close slaw, and the green beans were super as well! I got the chopped brisket sandwich (they ask chopped or sliced) with onions and pickles in the buttery potato bread bun. Words cannot described how epic this brisket was. Everything went so well together and the sweet sauce they have on each table was truly scrumptious. Wife got the turkey and that was an amazing experience as well. PRO-TIP, white bread is free, so a lot of other customers were not getting the sandwiches, but just the meat. What an experience with Texas BBQ! Enjoy!

Unless you have an hour to wait for food, I'd avoid this place until they figure out how to run a restaurant.

Really wanted to like this. Unfortunately the food was all extremely salty, portions were relatively small, and it was overpriced. Liked the scallion pancake and the Dan Dan noodles (although honestly they're better at Szechuan gourmet). The tea pork ribs and pork bao were literally the two saltiest things we've ever eaten (party of 3). The service and grapefruit margarita were good. If you're looking for good Asian fusion style tapas in Boston, honestly try Shojo in my opinion.

This is a Portland old school breakfast and lunch spot, local, organic, sustainable and healthy if you like, from before there were a billion hipsters here. Hard to believe but true. I bent the ear of a city council member at the adjacent table once and learned a lot too: "Hey what about this? We should do the right thing." "We want to do that, and all the businesses I talk to want to do that, and even though it would benefit them, they won't come out on the record supporting it because of their friends at the Mac Club, so we cannot do it." Most of the waitstaff have been working there for eons too. If you are in a rush, select the counter. The oyster hash is pretty decadent. Inspired me enough to make it at home now. Just barely cook those oysters in a little olive oil rather than breading and frying as Bijou does. I rarely eat eggs, so no idea on that. My other option is healthy. They have it. Fruit, granola, oatmeal. They tend to be busy from opening time, unlike hipster hangouts that are just hitting their stride weekends about 11 or noon, (or 1 or 2 - that's PM not AM!). It's a good place to bring family visitors from the Midwest, it has a familiar vibe, but a quality menu and ingredients. It's not a place of culinary fireworks like Tasty and Sons. Business and old school crowd early weekdays, Reassuring non-hipsterific quality.
