I end up here at least once a month for a quick treat. By far the best red bean buns/pastries I've found outside of Cambridge. I like to try something new every time I go - last time was almond cookies. Simply amazing.

Mochi danish, amazing. I haven't had the red bean mochi bun yet, but please continue to make mochi desserts!

Went to Nook to carbo-load the night before the BMO marathon. There was a 45 min wait but understandable since it's a really small place. We had a seat at the chef's [bar] table in back and chatted with the friendly girl making pasta, who offered up a sample of her off-the-menu favorite dish. The homemade gnocchi and casarecce were flavorful and cooked perfectly al dente. When paired with a Hay Fever saison from parallel 49, my only regret was that we had to get to bed early that night.

I was pretty happy with the pork fried rice, chicken wings and chicken fingers (yeah the chicken fingers were batter heavy but whatever). Also got some pan fried noodles that were pretty good. Now honestly I ate it at like 2am and I was pretty intoxicated but at that time it was phenominal. Its also cheap and has good portion sizes. I should add that the next morning my stomach ache woke me up at about 7am and I legit felt like I was gonna throw up for like the next hour straight, it was very unpleasant, but I ultimately got over it. Could have been because I ate pretty much my entire order which was huge, but it seems like every other review is saying it made them sick so idk.. On the whole I would definitely say give it a try.

I've always been a fan of the food, with the 'Fetch' being my favorite breakfast item and the cherry jalapeno quesadilla being my go-to item at happy hour (or as a light lunch). Cocktails are inconsistent, although the hot drinks are amazing. Espresso drinks are GOOD - however, why would someone serve a large mocha in a glass with no handle? Every time I go there I have to use a napkin to pick up my drink. The service however has become more and more spotty over the years, some completely ignoring you and some super friendly. I no longer bother on the weekends as the waits are hours long and often the service is reflected. They allow dogs in the outdoor area, which is a nice idea if you have a mellow dog, however a large percentage of the dogs in there should NOT be allowed - approaching other tables, barking, etc.? Don't bring your dogs if they can't behave. It's not cute. Love being by the fireplace on a rainy day or enjoying the movie night with a blanket - good stuff. So I still give Tin Shed a good review overall, but they are no longer my automatic breakfast or lunch spot in the neighborhood. I'd love to see the service get more consistent so maybe someday it would be always worth the wait...

Really great, elegant hotel. In love with the tv inside the mirror in the bathroom!! Beautiful pool area too. Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. Both valet or self-parking car is quite expensive. Very friendly staff. Very close (walking distance) to fabulous restaurants.
