Sullivan's Steakhouse
📍 Address: 300 Colorado St, Ste 200, Austin

This place is typically a very expensive steak house, but their happy hour makes it very affordable for those of us who can't afford to eat here regularly. On thursdays and sundays, they have $5 bar food and martinis. You can go ahead and skip the martinis, they are nothing special, and I have yet to find one that I actually liked. However, the burger they have on their happy hour menu is exceptional!! It is the biggest portion you will find on the happy hour menu, and it is absolutely delicious! You have to eat at the bar to get the happy hour deal, and it does get VERY crowded. Be prepared to wait for a seat to open up, and when it does, you better jump on it real quick or else someone else will take it.

I have to agree with all of the reviews. I have tried jonathon's a few times as I work up the street. Honestly, I will not be back. The service is always horrendous. Our last visit we waited to be seated for 5 minutes as the waitstaff basically walked by us a number of times. In addition the food is eh. Nothing special. I've had the Ruben and the meat was slimy and cold. Next visit I had the soup and salad over priced and the clam chowders cream was separating. The last visit I had the Philly cheese steak. This was the first edible meal in my three visits. Service each time was slow and extremely unfriendly. I've given them a few chances. Taking mu business back to the biltmore, mc morgans, and oharas. Jonathon's is not worth your time or money. You will most likely leave hungry.
Winter Park Fish Company

Can I do 6 stars? One of my favorite places for fresh fish anywhere! You will see things on the menu here that you won't see many places: Lionfish, Triggerfish, Cobia, etc, and it's always phenomenal. Prices are completely fair for QUALITY fresh fish, especially when you consider what is costs to bring some of these species to the table. WPFC, keep up the good work!

Delicious. I ordered the fried green tomatoes salad last night for take out. Fresh, crisp greens and yummy cheese and tomatoes. I also loved the buttery biscuit. It was so good, I picked up a Very Berry Salad today for lunch. Another delicious salad and I love the berry vinaigrette.

Haven't been here in several years and now I remember why. Kind of a dive restaurant with okay food but prices for high end seafood joints! I ordered the Pontchartrain, which is flounder with a seafood topping. The fish filet was about 5 oz's and the protein in the sauce was weak. Tiny bay shrimp and very little crab accompanied a few crawfish. $16.95. My business will be going to Pappadeaux for that kind of cheddar, now that it has opened on 183.

I decided to go check this place out for lunch with a few friends and it is definitely not open for food. It is open for wine all day but the kitchen doesn't open until 5PM. You walk in and it's a very cozy atmosphere with wine laced across the left wall. They divided the wine by region: French, Italian, Californian. Descriptions of each wine are listed including recommendations. You can choose a bottle or you can order by the glass. The wine selection is awesome and the pricing is decent. The food consists more of appetizers. Granted they have a few entrees but Vino Vino is somewhere to go before or after dinner someplace else. We ordered the cheese and it was probably the best cheese I have ever tasted. ever. It was creamy and flavorful but not too over the top. I returned a second time with a few other friends and an Italian exchange student. They have a happy hour menu from 6PM - 7PM with half off appetizers. Go during happy hour and a group of friends to split a bottle of wine. Happy mouth and happy wallet! As for normal pricing, it is overall pretty steep for a baller on a budget.
