Lodge at Cascade Brewing

📍 Address: 7424 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy, Portland

Stars: (3.5)

The food was good, good selection of beers-cascade brewing. Service was super slow and there was no clear server for our table. We had to go find our waitress to pay for our bill. Once we did she acted all annoyed that we brought her over, and we were very nice to her and even apologized for having her come over. Than couple of days later I look at my bank statement and the waitress more than doubled her tip I wrote for her! I did give her only 10% because it was the worst service I ever got. If I really wanted to be mean I could have given 0%, but I felt bad for her and thought maybe this is her first time serving. I am very disappointed with this place and will not be coming back!

Maitland Breakfast Club

📍 Address: 745 Orienta Ave, Altamonte Springs

Asked Google for breakfast and it brought me here. Great choice! I had the Ultimate Omlette that is basically a meat, veggie, cheese lover egg delight. No need for lunch today. I highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch (looking at the menu) if you're in this area. Not on the main drag (436) but worth the 2 block detour.

Classic Cafe

📍 Address: 1313 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington

Arlington seems to be pretty light on sit down breakfast spots. So we decided to go here on around 11 a.m. on a Sunday. It was packed but after some shuffling we got two seats at the counter. We both got coffee, which was good. The women who were working at the counter were awesome, but they informed us head chef had called in sick and that is would take longer for our food to come out. After almost an hour our food did come. My girlfriend got a three cheese omelet and I got the Irish Benedict. Sadly mine looked very unappealing no matter how much sauce there was over it. But I was so hungry I tried it. It seemed the more I picked at it the uglier it got, to the point where I could not eat anymore. I felt very bad leaving my plate almost full but there was no way I could do it. The woman serving us kindly replaced my old meal, with an egg, toast, and bacon which was very good. I would definitely go back but I will just stick to the basics, which they seem to do well.

Garbo's Lobster Truck

📍 Address: 12709 N. Mopac Expressway, Austin

Heidi is ultra friendly and she is serving up some super awesome stuff. I recommend giving her a call to find out her specific location. She will accommodate. Best lobster roll and New England style clam chowder I've had anywhere this far south. A must.

The Bistro On Park Avenue

📍 Address: 348 N Park Ave, Winter Park

Beautiful restaurant & the food was actually quite good! Although we will never return due to the fact that the owner is a real jackass! We walked in and stood at the door for a good 5 minutes before we were even acknowledged, and when who we found out later was the owner came up to us to seat us he made us feel like it was an inconvenience that we came in! He had absolutely no personable skills whatsoever. I ordered a mimosa & it took 13 minutes to receive it and after I finished I was never asked if I would like another one. While waiting for our food, a woman & her young daughter were seated next to us and her daughters burger was undercooked. She wasn't upset about it but politely asked the owner as he was walking by to have it cooked more and he swiped it off the table dramatically as if it was her fault! In the meantime we received our food which was excellent! Kudos to the chef!! I had the crab cake Benedict & my fiancé had the biscuits & gravy. Upon asking for our check, so did the woman next to us and she asked the server about the $20 groupon credit she had. The waitress got the owner once again and he proceeded to rudely raise his voice saying it's not his problem and he is a new owner and never agreed to accept those!! I was embarrassed for her by the way he rudely spoke to her. She was very nice though & kept her composure. It's a shame because if it wasn't for him we'd have been back, but because of him I hope that his business fails miserably due to his lack of poor customer service & respect towards people in general!!

Tibby's New Orleans Kitchen

📍 Address: 2203 Aloma Ave, Winter Park

Stars: (4.5)

Tibby's is trendy and has New Orleans cuisine. Nice outing if you want a casual dining experience with great good. I visited the day after Christmas so the crowd was manageable. Will definitely be back.
