Took a last minute trip to Austin for work and had to get some BBQ. No time in the morning to wait for the other place so I came her for dinner without a reservation. The place was packed as usual and there was multiple people waiting. Only waited 30 mins for a table on Wednesday night. That's not bad at all. This place is CASH ONLY. Some people were frustrated at the wait and cash only part but it helps if you know about it beforehand. Got to get a good look at the Pit and how they manage all the bbq. Pretty cool to see how they work together to manage it. The lot is pretty large and the eating space is big as well. It is like eating in a greenhouse since there are windows all around. Here we go: Food I got the all you can eat BBQ. Not bad for $25. They bring you plate by plate until you are fool. I only made it to plate 2 and I'm a pretty big guy. The BBQ was really good and I enjoyed the flavor. Only issue I had was the temp of the meat. It was luke warm and I like my food hot. Maybe I should have said something to the server and she could have fixed it, something to note for next time. The brisket was tender and cooked just right. The ribs were falling off the bone and not dry. The sausage was on point for me and they give you a good amount. The sides were just ok. Nothing special but that is typical of all bbq restaurant sides. To end the experience I got the cobbler. It was really good, not too sweet and plenty of fruit. Service The server was very nice and she managed to take good care of us. With the place being so packed I expected long delays between plates and refills but she was on it. We were done in like an hour and I took the cobbler to go. All in all I enjoyed the bbq and atmosphere here. The picnic table style tables were a nice touch. Don't be surprised if you are sitting next to strangers. It is all part of the experience. Everyone just wants some good bbq that is open later than the other tip places. Happy Hunting Yelpers!

Good food. Great atmosphere. The employees were extremely nice and helpful. They didn't rush us when we ordered. They even suggested things for us to get more for our money. We didn't wait more than 20 minutes for our food. I'll be back.

This place had a Cheers vibe where it seemed like everyone knew each other. All the staff was very friendly. The breakfast Sando hit the spot although I regret not adding bacon. The egg was fluffy and the ciabatta roll was nice and soft. I ordered a decaf pourover which hit the spot. Great place to get some work done with plenty of seating. The bathroom was also very clean!

Love love love this place. This adorable establishment is owned by a Belgian couple and is the perfect place to grab a coffee, breakfast or lunch. The decor is modern and comfortable and the food is simply divine. It's made of high quality ingredients and you definitely feel like you're eating clean. The coffee is strong too! While I have not tried everything on the menu yet, my go-tos thus far? The avocado toast and the gluten free chocolate cake. The cake is to die for. My friend who is gluten intolerant had shared it with me and it's truly incredible - you'd never guess it was gluten-free. It's the perfect place to bring friends (and dates) to for a morning or midday meal. Looking forward to heading there again soon.

I love this place. We drove in to the expected crazy busy mess that we all love as the Salt Lick. They have this Sheriff guy directing traffic who we made fun of because he was so mean. We checked in and was told an hour wait. We gladly waited in the outside area with our beer and wine we brought in. If you want to drink, you MUST bring your own beverages. The Salt Lick does NOT charge a 'corking fee' or whatever else restaurants call it to charge the customer extra money. We sat at a picnic table, listened to live music and chatted for 55 min. before being sat at our table. Some of us ordered the all you can eat(I was one of those gluttons) and others ordered individual plates. One of my friends had to leave early, so they let her order first and brought her food almost immediately. The food was served hot and pretty quickly for as busy as they were. It was FABULOUS....as usual. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. No split checks, but it worked out fine with our group. GO GO GO GO GO GO!!! EAT EAT EAT EAT!!!
