I'm sorry...I really wanted to like this place. The reviews were pretty good all in all. Unfortunately, the food just didn't warrant any stars at all. The customer service was okay but the food.....oh God no. The taste is bland at best. I had a Gordita with rice and beans, my husband had the enchilada and relleno. We ordered chips and salsa, too. The rice and beans were lukewarm on both plates (obvs had been dished up substantially before our orders were ready). The gordita was.......gross. It was made with carnitas, sandwiched between a mongo flour tortilla and liberally filled with cheese (I love cheese) but that was it. There was an odd flavor that i can't quite describe - like cream with a hint of tomato-but the flavorless kind. The whole thing was cut into pizza slices and garnished with sour cream from a bottle. My husband liked his relleno alright but ate one bite of his enchilada and spit it into his napkin. The refried beans were okay - you can't screw up refried beans from a can. Even the rice had no flavor. To be fair, we are originally from Colorado, where Tex-Mex is king. But a little spice, maybe a sprig of cilantro, even cumin or chili powder - SOMETHING - would have made this dining experience closer to worth the $29 ticket (for just the food). This is Mexican food folks. Even in Oregon, people expect a little warmth in the Mexican food - AND a little flavor. This food had neither. On the other hand, it's clean and cute, in a kitschy sort of way. If the owner is reading this: PLEASE...own the fact that you're a Mexican restaurant-you can and should serve food with bold, rich flavor. Catering to a perception that Oregonians prefer mild is a big mistake. What you're doing is not pleasing all the people all the time - you're kind of grossing all the people out by selling your food short. I hope to try this place again - but if I do, I expect some flavor, if not a little heat, too!

Middling pan-Asian food by and for white people. The room looks good, the service is okay, the vibe is southeast bobo. Whoa! prices. Diet advisory: the food packs more sugar than Froot Loops.

Food is not fresh and environment is unclean. Just moved to the area and was used to the fresh, clean store that was totally focused on customer driven service. These folks at the research location need to step it up or they will be loosing other customers too.

I read online that this place was from the same family that used to own Venice Pizza in Surrey before it was sold off. Years ago Venice was my only go-to for pizza and once it was sold it was never the same. Well it's back folks. Was in town and tried it out and I have to say it is the same old quality back again. The pizza was amazing with thick crust, fresh ingredients, and excellent cheese. Very friendly staff and probably the best pizza I have had in years! Will definitely be back.

Guys, Amanda was not lying when she talked about the roaches. Came here on 8/17 at 8 pm. Saw a roach crawling up the wall. I decided to read the yelp reviews and walked right out of there. The greeter had no idea she had just walked us in. And the servers that used his rag to kill it never even apologized.
