Awful service, the waitress seemed to have better things to do while waiting on us. Our food all came out at different times and not once did she apologize. Really bad

This is actually a 3.5 We went to the official Grand Opening on Saturday. They offered a free 6" with any drink... What a steal - so we had to go try. The service was amazing, so kind, friendly and warm. However, it was slighty disorganized, but considering it was their first official day, that was expected. Our order was repeated about 4 times, from what we could hear. We had the house iced coffee and the Pineapple Smoothie. The Vietnamese Coffee was decent, but the smoothie was where it was at. It was fresh and just the right amount of sweetness! As for the subs, I would describe the menu as Asian Fusion. We had the classic coldcut (if you are having a banh mi, you gotta try the original first and foremost in my books) and the bbq pork with kimchi. The classic was filled with meaty goodness, but unfortunately the flavor in the pickled daikon and carrots was non-existent, big nono for me because I absolutely LOVE the pickled veggies that go on the sub. Pate was great tho! The bbq pork with kimchi was so flavourful - would love to have another one of those. The baguette itself was a little too hard for my liking. Not sure if it was because it wasn't fresh when I went or what the deal was. It was also very skinny... which looked weird to me. I prefer the traditional crusty baguette (hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it). I would like to think that I would return. At any rate, I am glad that I tried. DD Mau receives big points for taking a new approach on traditional banh mi, but it's hard for me to pay over $7 a sub, when I am used to paying $3.25 where I come from lol.

One of the "nicer" restaurants at Disney. It's great to come a little early and wander both the grounds and the beautiful resort. Last year, I had the short ribs and they were outstanding. This time I tried the buffalo ribeye, and unfortunately I was not at all impressed. For $52 dollars, I was expecting to be blown away. While the meat was tender, it was boring, flavorless with not even a little crust. The potent dry Hendricks martini however, helped soften my disappointment.

Sometimes I want to feel fat after I eat breakfast and so I come here. And I order a croissant and a stuffed ham and cheese or custard and apple waffle and a latte. And I eat it all with it's creamy fatineaa and it's glorious and delicious and I feel like a whale. And it's worth it every time. I really do need to try the fruit and waffles though. It comes with heaps of whipped cream, so i can justify it ;)
