My wife and I are huge fans of Olive & June and Parkside, and I had been to Backspace one other time. Last time I remember having a great experience... this time, I felt like the appetizers and wine were pretty good, but the pizza left a lot to be desired. For appetizers, we shared the beet salad (mediocre), the veal/pork meatballs (great), and the prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella (decent). I have had a lot of good and bad pizza in Austin over the years, but the pizza I had this night would have to be mediocre at best. Despite being a big fan of the wood-fired pizza-making approach, these pizza felt a little too charred and the blackened cooked flavor took over your tastebuds, leaving not much to enjoy. Our table had a fennel sausage/red pepper/garlic pizza, and arugala/etc pizza, and the mushroom/etc pizza. Although I almost always prefer red sauce, meat-laden pizzas, due to the overwhelming blackened taste the white, arugala pizza turned out to be the favorite of the table. The wine was incredible, and the intimacy of the space, as well as the high-quality service, kept this experience from disappointing... and yet, I'm not sure what I would order if I go back as I love pizza, that's the main thing here, and yet it was not too good.
Union Oyster House

Oldest restaurant in America!!! Was told about this place from the hotel guy. Definite must see if you are visiting Boston. Place is very rustic. Has a old colonial feel to it. It also has several levels. The grilled oyster is similar to that of dragons in Louisiana, therefore we decided to try that. The plate was $14 for 6. It was cheesy and the oyster was very fresh.

Very entertaining place and great for kids. It is pricy but you don't have to spend money or you can find things that would fit in your budget. We spent $75 tax and gratuity included as family for 4 including good and 5 alcoholic drinks which is acceptable to me. Food is as good as you would expect. I think some people don't release the tokens include tax and gratuity. People who work there are very nice too.

My favorite place to dine in the city! Excellent food. Perfect service. Breathtaking views of the city. This place is our go-to. We make the trip out here from Cape Cod whenever we can. The menu is small but there is something for all tastes, on Sunday, my boyfriend and I both had the hanger steak, it was cooked perfectly. Tonight I am having the haddock. I always expect and receive the best here. I highly recommend the lounge.

My favorite spot when I'm craving for a chicken sandwich. Today I had a cheese burger with fries, strawberry milk shake, and a salad. I been coming in here for over 13 years. Some of the same workers from back in the day lol. Service is a bit slow, but what do you expect when it's busy. I love the older ladies that work in there. They just keep pushing and tugging along.
