Stars: (4.5)

BBQ is amazing. Worth the wait. However, 3hr wait is a long time.

The best chicken waffles I have ever tried. It was totally worth the long wait. The customer service was on point as well

One of the best brunch spots in all of Portland. Yes, there's the typically annoying wait during busy times (after 9 on weekdays and anytime on weekends). You can help yourself to a drip coffee while you wait, or go next door to Case Study for a fancier espresso drink. I wouldn't say it's worth the wait, because in my opinion, nothing is worth the wait, but it's definitely worth getting up early for and heading over before there's a line. The egg/omelette dishes are all fantastic. You can taste the quality of the ingredients, everything is flavorful, and made fresh to order. The portions are generous, not ridiculously huge like Gravy, but much larger than some of these newer, hip but unfulfilling spots. You won't leave hungry, especially if you choose a biscuit as your side. Also, the staff are all super nice. They may seem hip and that can be intimidating, but they're actually really friendly and for the most part, true professionals.

Senor Taco

📍 Address: 333 S State St, Lake Oswego

Stars: (3.5)

Great food for a great price. My husband and I eat here or the West Linn location at least twice a month. The burritos and chicken quesadillas are delicious. I gave 4 out of 5 stars because I think there's been some turnover in cooks and the burritos have been subpar the last couple of times we've gone. The customer service isn't always great either but that hasn't stopped us from going often. I wouldn't recommend the enchiladas, they're not too good, might be the sauce they use. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant.

Hana Japanese Bistro

📍 Address: 1148 W Dillon Rd, Unit 6, Louisville

Stars: (4.5)

I remember when this place used to be a roasted coffee house. The owners are very nice, and a small, cozy setting of the restaurant is very nice. Compared to other sushi restaurants in the area, this restaurant is much less expensive, the sushi is honestly better, And the fact that it's not as loud, cramped, and busy, make sure all the more better. I have come back here time after time, and I I am always surprised by what they bring me. It is absolutely amazing, each time I come. If people ask me "where should I go for Asian?", I say go to sushi Hana. Keep it up!

Sonsie

📍 Address: 327 Newbury St, Boston

This is a pretentious, over-priced place with not much to offer other than snobbish clientele and waitstaff that thought they were too good for me. There was a table of chodes sitting next to me wearing suit jackets over sweatshirts with a pair a jeans talking about their investments. First of all, it's not that cold yet...whatever happened to dressing practically? I would have been pouring sweat if I had that many layers on. Seriously, get over yourself. I'm all for dressing up and going upscale, but this place was just snobbish without having anything to back it up. The food was mediocre and overpriced. It just seemed like a place were people who need ego stroking go to be seen. I was not impressed.
