Holy smokes! This place was fire! Went here one night with my lady, we had never been to Portland before. We were helped by a wonderful person named Cooper who gave us some of the best service we ever had and recommendations. Wish we lived here or nearby so we could keep coming back! But we will definitely come to Southland Whiskey Kitchen when we come back to Portland Oregon!

First time there and wow! We will return without kids because food was great but the waitress with her 2 tank tops not covering but 1/2 wasn't something we wanted the kids to see. This is a family place, right?

First time there and wow! We will return. Food and service on Friday night was a very pleasant surprise. Hamburger was made with quality hamburger and fries were not those pencil thin you see down the street. Thanks.

This was crap, $25 for an 8 corner pizza, which is just a deep dish styled pizza. The pizza was dry, and just like another reviewer complained it was also burnt. Besides the flavors from the cheese it was bland. The whole thing was like eating burnt crust that was toasted in an oven. I scheduled a specific pick up time and I arrived 5 minutes early so I could get the pizza hot and fresh out of the oven, right at my scheduled pick up time. This is a $25 pizza for god sake so if you want your money's worth you better get it at peak quality. And of course my pizza was already finished when I got there and sitting in a heated cupboard. I asked how long my pizza has been finished and the cashier, with a bit of a sour attitude, looked at a stack of receipts and said it was just a couple minutes ago, but if she had to look at a receipt to remember it was just a couple minutes ago she was probably bullshitting me. I wanted to go home and I wasn't going to wait for 20 minutes for a fresh pizza so I just took it and left. AND OF COURSE IT WAS CRAP when I got home. Not going back to Jet's. You know how much better food you can get for $25 around here?

Was really lazy on a Saturday night and decided to order some Indian food for takeout and this is really close. We tried the chilli chicken which was decent. Deep fried chicken in sweet and spicy chilli sauce. We also tried the vindaloo chicken and asked for mild spicy and it still kicked my butt (probably wasn't mild..) and the sauce was pretty good. The garlic naan is delicious for sure!

Kind of pricey, so make sure you visit on an empty stomach. I believe for two people, the total is always about $34 which includes drinks as well. Food is warm and fresh and prepared on the spot. Normally when I go to Chinese places? This isn't always the case. I recommend going. Lots of options to choose from.
