Sea Thai

📍 Address: 3812 E Colonial Dr, Orlando

For a couple of years now, Sea Thai has been my "go to place" for getting together with friends or introducing a newcomer to Thai food. Those days may be over. The last couple of times I've eaten here (both orders were take-out) the food was less than appetizing. I usually get either chicken or shrimp with mixed veggies. On both of these occasions the food had an unpleasant odor. The vegetables included in these dishes were sparse in variety and when I bit into the shrimp, it was downright chewy. I'm not sure what has happened to the quality of the food at Sea Thai but I hope they get back on track soon.

Kika Tapas

📍 Address: 5 Broad Canal Way, Cambridge

They were so busy funrishing the place, i think they forgot about the food. Wont make that mistake again, theres a few better places for tapas in town.

Chambar

📍 Address: 568 Beatty Street, Vancouver

Went for $38 DOV menu last night. I cannot say it is worth the money. I paid $8 extra for the foie gras pate and that was good. Their signature Mussels I was more than a little disappointed with. The broth was very strong and the mussels were over cooked and extremely small in size (meat was on average about the size of a finger nail) Dessert was ok. All in all I would not expect to pay $46 for this quality of food.

Pino's Pizza

📍 Address: 1920 Beacon St, Brighton

I ate at Presto's a couple days ago so I figured I should try their competition. Pino's won by a long shot. The pizza is delicious and huge. One thing I didn't like was their garlic bread. I like garlic to be so strong it burns, but this was inedible.

Beyond Bread Artisan Bakery

📍 Address: 3686 W 4th Avenue, Vancouver

Get their pain au chocolat or almond croissants. Incredible fresh and buttery. Nice homey rustic vibe. Highly recommend.

The Salt Lick BBQ

📍 Address: 18300 Fm 1826, Driftwood

All hype. The atmosphere is cool but that's about it. I recommend Styles Switch, La BBQ, or craftsmeats
