Rolling In Thyme & Dough

I've watched this place grow from a one-table, one-employee coffee shop to the magnificent asset to Dripping Springs it has become. I won't repeat others' comments. Just great bakery items, with something totally different every day. However, one feature always strikes me when I visit T&D... EVERY employee acts as if they were the owner. I don't know how they have managed to collect such a friendly and helpful staff, but they have pulled it off. That, to me, is the mark of a great business! One things not mentioned in any other review is the awesome THURSDAY NIGHT DINNER. Fabienne designs a different menu each week, with 3 or 4 entrees, accompanied by an incredible selection of just-made desserts. Prices are way too cheap...From $10-$13 for the complete meal, with added benefit of local musician entertainment on the side. When weather permits, diners can choose one of the tables right amongs the flower gardens surrounding the place. Hooray for Fabienne and Marcia!
Musashino Sushi Dokoro

Traditional, non-trendy "hardcore" sushi for an accomplished palate. Those seeking california rolls or crab with a K would be well suited to stick with the chain or assembly line sushi joints that seem to litter our fair city. Try the hamachi kama - Musashino is on eof the few places I've seen that offer this select piece of fish sushi style. Service can be hit or miss but the food makes up for any issues here...
Hofbrauhaus Columbus
📍 Address: 800 Goodale Blvd, Columbus

First time to a Hofbrauhaus. The food is good German food, as well as a selection of typical American bar food. I don't know why this needs to be offered, but sadly people must order it... The German food is excellent and just what you would expect. The beer is on-point for your typical German beers. There are seasonal offerings, as well as year-round beers. The service is good even when the place is full. My only knock is on the acoustics of the building as it is so loud is is often impossible to hear even those sitting inches away from you due to the music and other insurmountable noises building inside.

Very fresh seafoods and friendly people!! Once in while, they have surprises in the tanks; e.g. had a fresh steamed carb by chance. It was cooked perfectly that kept all the juice and the scent of ocean! There is nothing that can compare with the fresh ones.
Canton Cooks

I don't have to say much about this place. I simply love their food. Here is my recommendation. 1. Salt and pepper squid 2. Salt and pepper pork chop 3. Sauteed snowpea leaves 4. Eggplant hot pot 5. Dragon Soup 6. General Tso chicken 7. Mapa tofu with pork I suggest going in a big group and doing a family style. Please do yourself a favor and don't order typical menu items like sweet and sour pork... if you do, you have no right to complain about the food. :) OH, they're closed on Wednesdays!!!!
Emmer & Rye

One of the very best meals I've had in Austin! We went for dinner tonight and everything from the food, service, ambiance- awesome. For five people we split 8 dishes from the main menu and 3-4 from the dim sum cart. We all left feeling very happy and full, which was a huge plus since shared plates and tapas style meals can leave people hungry at the end. We loved everything we had but the standouts we could eat again and again were the carnitas, little neck clams, and cacio e pepe.
