Like everything else in Portland, you'll wait in line to get in here. Worth it. The chicken wings are good and live up to the reputation. Slightly on the salty side, but I don't mind. The papaya salad is spicy. It will make your butt burn. Sticky rice was good, but the portion was so tiny. Pickled veggies that come with the wings, good stuff. We asked for a plate of it haha. Waiter was friendly and attentive. Will come back here again to try more dishes the next time I come to PDX.

Island Creek Oyster Bar

📍 Address: 500 Commonwealth Ave, Boston

Lobster Roll, clam chowder, and oysters. Nothing disappointed me other than the price. This spot is a little steep but if you're from out of town catching a Red Sox game and you want to treat yourself....go here. The staff was great. Plan ahead and make a reservation. The wait was an hour at 5 on a Saturday.

Toichi Ichiban Japanese Cuisine

Fantastic genuine homemade cuisine, honestly the best lunch in town, and modestly priced too!

Chick-fil-A

📍 Address: 503 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Austin

The food is great and the service is good. The employees are terrific. I am sad that they took out the onions and peppers from the breakfast burrito and put in hash browns. I am sure many people will like that, but I like you because, although you are definitely fast food and not health food, you get good marks for the quality of your food and so I am sad that you are "forcing me" (if I want your burrito-and I do!) to eat fried hash browns. Please reconsider!!...and become 5 stars again in my book. Also, love the fresh squeezed lemonade!

Island Creek Oyster Bar

Amazing atmosphere, great decor, fun ambiance but food was slightly disappointing. Started with an assortment of oysters which were delicious, but things quickly went down hill from there. The clams in the clam chowder were so chewy they were almost inedible. The crab cake was decent but sat on a bed of guacamole which did not really work for me. Not to mention it was a little dry. The haddock dish was dry and the risotto was so rich and salty you could hardly enjoy it. Salmon with blue grits was decent. I would be back but maybe just for the oysters and/or drinks.

Ristorante Roma

📍 Address: 1216 SW Morrison St, Portland

Visiting Portland, hungry for a good meal somewhat close to Pioneer Square, the Yelp app saved the day. We didn't have reservations, but got a table pretty quickly. 1 star for service: attentive, professional, and friendly 1 star for quality: their 4 cheese gnocchi is to die for (I could eat an entire pot, since here it's made as it should be, with a lighter dough), the antipasto was fresh and generous, the ravioli bolognese was perfect and meaty, the tiramisu just put it all over the top wonderfully. 1 star for ambiance: classy, simple, very quaint and familiar. 1 star for location 1 last star for bringing all this together (really, what more could you ask for?) I will be coming back, since it's now my favorite Italian Restaurant.
