We were looking for great Chinese food in Boston and Myers & Chang kept coming up in the reviews. Weird because, as we discovered, it's not Chinese food. It's a fusion place. Once we had gotten over the fact that we wouldn't be having Chinese and settled into the groove of the restaurant, we ordered the Surf and Turf Black Pepper Noodles (with steak, shrimp, peanuts, cilantro and lime), and the Lamb Biang Biang (a stir fry with noodles). Neither dish was very good. Flavors were a bit on the shy side.. none of that passionate fusion five-flavors-at-once rush of taste experience you would expect from a fusion restaurant with such high ratings. Overall, a disappointment. My cocktail was the Bloodlust - sounds much more exciting than it tasted. Like the meal, it was just OK... watery and blah. (Lackluster I guess is the best way to put it.) I ended up ordering a beer instead of trying again with the bartender. The final nail in the coffin for our dining experience was the wait time. Granted, it was a busy night (every table was occupied), but we waited almost 45 minutes for our food to come out. There was nothing in our entrees that should have taken that long. And the time it took the chef to prepare our dishes certainly wasn't additive when it came to flavor. I will say that the couple at the table next to us were having the "Whole Ginger Scallion Lobster" and it looked quite intriguing (I was having entree envy for sure), but I doubt I'll return to Myers & Chang to find out if we just ordered wrong.

I ordered the beef ribs, pricey but worth it. It was so good. I also had the pork ribs, brisket and turkey and they were alright. The peach cobbler was amazing.

I was here a few days ago with my fiancée and best friend. He has been here a few times and was helping us out because we never had Ethiopian food. I wanted to try the Kitfo without looking at a picture to see what it looked it. When it came out and I tried some, I would say the taste was something I had to get used to lol. The waitress noticed that I didn't finish my meal and offered to replace my meal with Tibs. That was an amazing thing for to do and she didn't even charge me extra for it. I would highly recommend this place for anyone that loved Ethiopian food or is thinking of trying it for the first time.

Loved coming here for lunches. The BBQ speaks for itself. Do it and take a guy with you. It holds it's own.

Well, having read about this establishment being mentioned quite few times, yet i was somehow afraid of trying Ethiopian food. We finally made it last weekend for an early dinner on rainy Sunday. At 5:30 PM, the wait wasn't that long. I love how the menu gives us dictionary about some words that we arent familiar at all, like injera, gomen, fit fit, awaze, and others. I finally ordered goden tibs and hubby got filet mignon. The tibs kinda chewy and plain. Truthfully speaking, food is okay but it is not that really satisfied my palate. The awaze (spicy sauce) isn't spicy at all to my taste, yet the gomen (collard green) is excellent. Service is very good and prompt.

We've been here several times for lunch buffet and love it. Their selection of vegetarian options is great. Their soups are delicious. The staff is friendly. Really good food.
