We went here because of the deep history surrounding this place. Pros: historical significance, lobster Cons: slow service (waited entirely too long for refills, had to flag down a different waitress because our waitress vanished), food took forever to come, $28.00 for literally 6 butterfly shrimp and one side (NOT a generous portion!!) Stop by here to grab a Boston cream pie and leave. Very overpriced and service is lacking. EDIT- our waitress randomly stopped serving us- although she would look in our direction before she turned the other way. Thank goodness for a young blonde waitress who picked up her slack. This woman was nice and attentive. Had she been our waitress from the beginning, my review of the service may have been different. I even considered calling management to complain about the crappy service we received. My husband is nice and we tipped 20%, although I hope it went to the 2nd waitress.

My sister and I were on a walk around Vancouver when we got hungry and decided to find somewhere to go. Yelp to the rescue again! We checked out the menu and the reviews on Yelp and decided to try it for ourselves. We both ordered the noodle bowl with a vegetarian spring roll. The bowl was huge and seemed to go on forever. The veggie spring roll was a bit over cooked but the taste was still good. The value was very good for the portion size. Service good with friendly staff that didn't rush us even though they were closing shortly after we arrived. I'd go back in a heart beat!

The pizza isn't very good. Seriously, it is a roulette whether you are going to get a decent piece. The pies sit out for hours at a time at room temperature (which is against the health code) and then when you order they just throw it back into the oven. The owners are also terrible people. I worked there as a driver. I made minimum wage for a tipped employee which is 3.65, I never made enough tips to get to $7.35, so they were supposed to make up the difference (as required by state and federal labor law), well they didn't. When I brought it up to them, they fired me. But, beyond that, this place is just bad.

The people who work here are sick of you, but I still like the food. Fried Calamari is good. The fish sandwich is PERFECT - the BEST fish sandwich of my LIFE. Blackened swordfish: PASS. Seafood platters - OK. The cornbread is awesome too.

I stick to my old adage of "if there is Sriracha in the house, the food is good", and this place is yet another example of this! First off, everything is local, local, local. They pride themselves on using local tomatoes and eggs (free range), and all of the ingredients (including the coffee) are of the highest standard. I had the breakfast sammich on the 'everything' bagel, and it was phenomenal. The bagel was so fluffy and easy to bite out of, leaving me with a giant mouthful of savory goodness and not everything falling on the plate like most bagel sandwiches do. The eggs were cooked perfectly with tons of beautiful spinach, and basically one of their giant omelettes stuffed between the two slices of bagel goodness with fresh tomato, jalepeno, and onion. The V-Lux salad was a damn triumph as well, and downright dinasouric in size. The sweet potato tamales are not to be missed, and the Iced Nutella Latte made me feel like a snot nosed kid again when chocolate milk was the best thing ever. The place was buzzing the entire time, which is the sign of a great restaurant. The atmosphere was fun, and the service extremely friendly. This is my new favorite breakfast stop.

Date night or special night out with friends! Love this place but wish I could be more of a regular. It's pretty spendy and hard to get a table. They will take reservations and you mostly need them. Reservations are kinda rare in PDX so I appreciate that. Delish food and cocktails. Service is good and I think the owner has come by almost every time I've been here. Nice touch
