Houston's Restaurant

📍 Address: 3321 Lenox Rd NE, Atlanta

Stars: (4)

I've ate at Houston's on Lenox a few times. I typically eat the same thing the Hickory Burger which is always cooked to perfection. The only beef I had was the rude hostess that tried to seat me next to kids and some old guy that looked like he should've been at his death bed rather than eating out. Thanks for the attitude I really appreciate it, you know who are. Yet our server was awesome. Good time overall I love dining at Houston's.

Ruth's Chris Steak House - Buckhead Atlanta

📍 Address: 3285 Peachtree Rd NE, Buckhead

Stars: (3.5)

We had an awesome experience here this past Friday night. We were staying in the Embassy Suites, where this restaurant is located, and decided to eat here at the last minute. We were pleasantly greeted and immediately sat when we went to the hostess stand. It was about 8:00. They were busy, but not totally packed. Our waiter, Tristan, came over quickly after we were seated and was fantastic the entire night. Very knowledgeable of the menu, had great recommendations and was extremely attentive. We could not have asked for a better waiter. The food was fantastic! We each had a filet and both were tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The sides were awesome - roasted cauliflower with almonds and also the creamed spinach. We were pleasantly surprised how good everything was. As we were leaving, Tristan thanked us for coming and was very gracious. We asked him if the manager was around as we would like to let him know how great a job Tristan did. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

OSAKA Japanese Sushi & Steak House

📍 Address: 14 Green St, Brookline

The food was okay. It's a pretty lousy location being off from Harvard st.

Chipotle Mexican Grill

📍 Address: 1948 SW Broadway, Portland

Stars: (3)

Grabbed a quick burrito on my way to a meeting today. Flavor was pretty good, but the contents were warm at best with a strip of downright cold through it. I'm assuming the cold was the salsa - which is probably a good idea to keep cold - but the other ingredients should have been hot enough to counteract.

Deschutes Brewery Portland Public House

📍 Address: 210 NW 11th Ave, Portland

The reason for popping one star off is the wait time. They have tried to extended their bar area to accommodate more people who aren't looking to wait. But it's generally pretty crowded. If you choose to wait then rest assured you will be well taken care of once you get your table. The beer is fresh and amazing. So are the accompaniments. I haven't tried the food here so cannot comment. Did the sampler and then tries their seasonal fresh hops beer. Must try with it is the pretzel which comes with cheese and mustard dip which is lip smacking good. They also have these small plates on the beer menu. The brownie from that is a must try. Cheers

Mister Tramps

📍 Address: 8565 Research Blvd, Austin

So, Ive been to Mister Tramps many many times and never got around to making a review of the place. It's definitely a different kind of place with many various personalities. If you like beer there are 30 different kinds to choose from with many local flavors. If you like to hurt your arteries the food there is amazing. The Drunken Bennedict is so good it makes you forget all the bad decisions you made the night before. I've made a few. Little secret about this place it actually is not run by Alfredo the owner its ran by the mustache on his face. It's why he carries around that coffee cup all the time. It's mustache food. They also have all the sports packages and don't cater to any specific team. Anyways, I say go check it out. Order a car bomb and get an Eiffle Tower.
