Bundy's Bagels

The company I work for had a meeting and Bundy's Bagels were served. They were a HUGE hit with us. We're talking 20 employees! Joel delivered the bagels too, not sure if he usually offers delivery service but he showed up with a massive box of delight. The everything bagel was my favorite with the jalapeño lime cream cheese spread. The pesto basil spread was very good too. I took a bagel home to my husband, he was very eager to try it. He's a bagel snob having lived in NYC for a stint and he said it was really good and he was impressed with the texture. It's all about the boil, apparently. So go see Joel and try his bagels, you won't be sorry.
Pizzeria Ludica

Came by for some pizza and board game goodness. Considering how empty the previous incarnation (Verace) was, this is a smart way to keep the seats filled. Parking is available underground, but it isn't free. Not sure where else one can park, as the street parking here is completely awful. My friends parked several blocks away. Staff are quite friendly and mostly professional, even though something not so good happened. Read below. The food overall is quite decent. The pizzas here are Neopolitan style. It's not as good as Novo, but holds its own. Most importantly, the pizza wasn't soggy (wet) in the middle, which is a common issue with this type of pizza. They also have pasta dishes available, though I didn't try. The only thing that was a bit off was that for some reason we were charged for more drinks than we had consumed (the server insisted we had 9, but we could only count 7). I suspect certain drinks had been double-counted as we had changed tables a couple of times. Unfortunately, our case fell on deaf ears. Hence the 3 instead of 4 stars.

Barnie's Coffee & Tea Co.
📍 Address: 118 S Park Ave, Winter Park

Barnie's CoffeeKitchen is one of my favorite Winter Park spots. The atmosphere is delightful for any occasion, whether it be hunkering down to get work done, or lingering over coffee with a friend. The espresso is flawless. But the best part of all would be their attentive, kind, and knowledgeable staff. You can have the best espresso in the world, but it doesn't matter if you have a crappy staff. The staff here is why I will continue to return. Shout out to server Kyle, who always remembers my order and my name, and goes above and beyond server duties. Thank you thank you Barnie's for being the best coffee shop in Orlando. Forreals! I could gush forever about you.

This was a pleasant surprise! I've now tried their calzone, their pasta (both the Alfredo and their meat sauce), their chef salad, and their chicken fingers. I've yet to be disappointed. I've only ordered from them via delivery, and each time, the food arrived quickly and was hot and fresh. Even when they misunderstood my order (one calzone arrived with ham and onion instead of hamburger and onion) I was surprised to find that... it was good! The meat sauce has actual identifiable bits of meat in it, which is a rarity. I'm not sure why I hadn't ordered from them until recently, but I am happy to have now discovered an Arlington eatery who will deliver delicious dinners.

I am grateful they opened Christmas day. BUT I tire of the staff playing the Loud songs on the jukebox and being so loud in their conversations. Pecan waffle is always raw. Wife got her eggs 20 minutes ahead of my waffle. Supervisor was doing all the work and the servers just hanging out.
