This is a favorite of ours-- great Italian food and a good atmosphere (although you can also order to go). My partner apparently refuses to try anything other than the lasagna saying that it is absolutely the best in the world. I am a fan of the linguine and clams pasta, but have branched out and tried other dishes and all are excellent. This is our go to place for Italian. We also love the casual atmosphere. Reservations are a must, but once seated, you will get good service and great food.

I label this place as just ok. Nothing stands out in my mind about the menu or location and it's pricey for what it is, and always crowded. If you're looking for a mediocre dinner, nothing great but also nothing terrible, feel free to visit this forgettable food joint.

Sorry but this Thai is not as good as David Thompson. Waited 1. 5 hours to get in here and food was good but not worth the hype. I have had better Thai food in some local Melbourne restaurants. We love Portland but this wasn't up to expectations!!!
Powell's City of Books

Dear Powell's. You have transformed my life, and I am not exaggerating. So many heartbroken rainy nights up in the spiritual/yoga/religious/nutrition room. Hours and hours over a decade. Better than therapy. Used books can be cheap here!! Parking lot. Coffee shop. Greeting cards. Kids section. Author events calendar = paradise.

We had an incredible meal this weekend while visiting from the bay area! Given the hype of the restaurant and the fact that Anthony Bourdain traveled to Thailand with Andy Ricker to say we were excited would be an understatement. The meal absolutely did not disappoint. I loved the ambiance after having just traveled to Vietnam it really did feel like a visit back to South East Asia (especially the plastic stools right by the host stand). The food was amazing. We had 4 dishes - chicken wings, boar collar Muu Paa Kham Waan, clay pot with shrimp and pork belly Kung Op Wun Sen and spicy forest mushroom salad Het Paa Naam Tok. All of the dishes had quite a bit of heat to them which we enjoyed but be aware that the thai chilies are no joke. We couldn't be happier with our experience and if you are up to try some truly unique cocktails they definitely have choices!

Worst McDonald's ever. Waited to be served for 10 minutes. Waited 10 minutes for the actual food. No ice. No one at register. Did not apologize. Absolutely awful
