New China Express

📍 Address: 8300 Sancus Blvd, Westerville

I eat here roughly once a month and have been a fan since they opened. The last few times I have been disappointed in the quality of the chicken served. I am hoping this is just a fluke and they would be back up to the 3 star that they deserve but I cannot recommend them at this time.

The Busy Bee Cafe

📍 Address: 810 Martin Luther King Jr Dr SW, Atlanta

I love Busy Bee Cafe because 1) Its home cooked food right around the corner from my house that I don't have to slave in the kitchen over, 2) because EVERYTHING taste great, 3) they have kick-ass desserts and the Uptown (lemonade & sweet tea mix) is reason to come back alone. Things I don't like; 1) Parking... yes there is a parking lot on the side but that is also used by the barbershop (aka folks just hanging out) so if you get there during peak hours either park across the street at the abandoned Publix lot keep your fingers crossed you will find a spot on the street. 2) The place is TINY meaning you will wait guaranteed. 3) Its cramped! I don't know about you but I don't like big momma's butt in my face while I'm eating my collards. Opt for a booth if possible. Luckily I get my food to go piping hot and don't have to hassle with a lot of the negatives including the parking during the warmer months. I would give it 4 stars for personal opinion, but I ddn't think that would be fair : / BTW Thursday is baked turkey wings (monster size) and dressing day... best. day. ever.

El Patron Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

📍 Address: 12167 S Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando

Went there tonight after reading reviews. Service was terrible! Had to track down manager to get chips and salsa and the salsa was terrible. Ordered Margaritas and for $14.00 each they sucked big time. I had the chicken burrito and I could not even finish it. The flour tortilla was as dry and stale as I have ever had. What a waste of $70.00!!!!!

Myplace Sports Bar & Grill

📍 Address: 6507 Jester Blvd, Ste105, Austin

I went there on a Sunday night at 9:30pm and they close at 10pm. I was just going to order some food to go with my sister, bc we didn't want to keep them. The manager insisted we stay and enjoy. So we sat on the cute little patio with my dog. The manager was very personable and nice. The owner also came out to greet us and chatted for a while. Later the manager sent us over a shot after our dinner and told us about some of the new happy hour specials they would be having daily. The food was delish and a good portion. My sister and I shared an app, salad, and entree. Great margaritas!! Good cocktails, beers, and wine selection. A little gem in my neighborhood.

I was having a Cardamon Orange gluten free something something cake with a pairing of port and it was amazing. Amanda did an amazing job creating this. Russel did an amazing job of describing this to us. Our palate is happy and we will def come here again.

Antique Table

📍 Address: 2 Essex St, Lynn

My brother took me out to lunch last Friday and his choice was The Antique Restaurant in Swampcott. The food was amazing, exceptional. We started off with the Caprese Salad, then ordered the thin crust margherita Pizza which was cooked to perfection. We both ordered Panini sandwiches, best we've ever had. My brother had the house special which consisted of grilled chicken, eggplant, prosciutto, spinach, roasted peppers, provolone cheese and home made mayo, I got the chicken cutlet with spinach, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and home made mayo, both came with fries. Oscar was our waiter, an asset to the restaurant. A plus personality, attentive, with a great demeanor. Looking forward to going back with friends.
