How do you lose a good, repeat customer? Tell them their food will be ready in 20 minutes and it's not ready in 20 minutes, it's not ready in 30 minutes, it wasn't ready in close to an hour. As a matter of a fact, I walked out without the food I ordered. I got an apology but I sure didn't feel the love. The lady next to me got a free dessert. I got false concern from one of the servers, a refund on my purchase and an apology that was insincere. Was it inconvenient for me to ask for a refund when I was expected to wait for how much longer? I don't care. You don't treat your repeat customers like that. I won't be a repeat customer any longer. I make better meatballs anyway.

First time here! Our milkshakes were brought out to our table which were delicious! Fries were great especially with their "sauce". I got the bacon burger and it was really good as well. No complaints at all! I would definitely return!

Stopped in here for lunch, and I was surprised to find good gumbo here. I went in thinking I'd have pizza, but after tasting the gumbo I had a bowl of it, and it was the best I've had in a long time. (And I make gumbo and have been to Louisiana a lot). I went back the next day for a sandwich (muffelata) and that was also good. My friend had a pizza and it looked good too. They put pesto on the crust, which is a nice touch. Really friendly folks behind the counter, and there always seems to be baseball on the TV's and good music playing. I'll be back. It's crowded inside for seating, but they have a picnic table outside so on sunny days that is nice.

I can't say enough good things about the food at Pok Pok. Every time I go to Portland it is a must eat event to go there. Yes I get the wings and love them every time, but there is so much else on the menu that is fantastic that I never know what to get. Be sure to ask about the specials, they tend to be quite special. The papaya salad is fresh and tasty and the ribs in a whiskey/soy/honey sauce are phenomenal. This last time I went I got the boar collar meat dish for the first time and I will definitely be ordering it again. There is plenty of spice in the spicy dishes, the vegetables are fresh and even the water is flavored. The only thing that can be iffy is the service (notice it wasn't worth removing a star). I know they are popular and I don't mind waiting, especially at the Whiskey Soda Lounge, but some of the servers are just not that good. This isn't a place I expect rudeness or attitude. That being said, the guy I had last time was on point and worked well with a troublesome couple who was initially unhappy with their seats. I love this place.

Went with party of 5 and 2 kids ordered all very different plates. I ordered ceviche a little spicy have to say It was very good a little surprised my son had tallarin verde con bistec. The streak was very good and the noodles with sauce was good too. My brother had chuple with shrimp and he liked it as well. My nephew had tallarin saltado con pollo it was just ok he complained it had too much soy sauce. The rest was good this place was good and by the time we left it got busy so they have business.
