Union Oyster House

📍 Address: 41 Union St, Boston

Stars: (3.5)

I think the tour books over-hype this place. I was expecting something special, and ended up with something I could have gotten at a million different places in Boston at a lower price. My tip - stop in the bar area for some clam chowder just so you can say you've been to the oldest restaurant in the country.

Lincoln's Landing

📍 Address: 156 Humphrey St, Swampscott

Stars: (4)

Great small place for a big breakfast at a good price. The breakfast meats and eggs are standard fare: nothing special but just what you're hoping to arrive at you table. The home fries deserve a special nod as they are made with real chunks of potatoes and browned with a nice crispness. But the pancakes... the pancakes! So many options with so much fun & flavor! Pineapple upside down cake pancakes were part breakfast part dessert. Yum! The folks running the place were friendly and attentive. Small and homey, Lincoln's Landing is likely to become our go-to option for weekend mornings. ... and did I mention the pancakes?

Chick-fil-A

Excellent customer service and as always great food. Drive thru is very efficient even thought they are always packed.

Voodoo Doughnut - Old Town

📍 Address: 22 SW 3rd Ave, Portland

Stars: (3.5)

This is CASH only and expect a line. I heard when in Portland, give this place a shot! Well, I did and ordered 3 donuts of which 2 I forgot already what I ordered with 1 that left a faint memory - The Voodoo Doll only because it was their store front signature iconic donut. The Voodoo doughnut contained some type of raspberry filling covered with chocolate frosting. The frosting was good but towards the end, I just felt like the sweetness was too much for my palette. BUT, this was the best donut of the bunch that I ordered. Here's my suggestion: Give this place a shot but don't expect some high quality donut. Given that everyone raves about this place, you might as well just make the effort to try it out and then check that off your list that you've been here and tasted it. Then move on... If you have some time left on your schedule, I would highly recommend visiting Pip's Original Doughnuts & Chai off of NE Fremont Street to get a better feel of amazing doughnuts that Portland has to offer.

Top of the Hub

📍 Address: 800 Boylston St, Ste 52, Boston

Stars: (3.5)

The interior of the restaurant is a bit old fashioned. The overall atmosphere was like a fancy traditional american place. Their winning point is to eat with the great view of Boston. Live jazz band on a saturday night at 9. I would probably go back for a drink but definitely not for food.

China Dragon

📍 Address: 798 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta

Stars: (3)

Absolutely disgusting! I don't know why this place hasn't been shut down yet. I peeked through the side door and saw a bucket of chicken sitting in the hallway UNCOVERED. When I walked by almost an hour later it was still there. This place is filthy and so is their food. It seems like a breeding ground for food poisoning.
