Super Burrito Express

📍 Address: 10506 SE 42nd Ave, Milwaukie

Stars: (3.5)

Been coming here since I was a kid. I've seen many changes including a new restaurant and personnel. But the one thing that has stayed consistent through out the years is the quality of the food. I've been to countless Mexican joints around Portland and this is still tops for me. Steak fajitas burrito and chilly cheese fries are a must. Very generous portions and the Horchata is world class.

Upper Crust Pizzeria

I like the thin crust but the pizza itself is really salty.

Food coma guaranteed! I visited Austin for the weekend and was told that this is a must -see place. After a night on the town, all you can eat meat doesn't sound appetizing at all. But, with the magic of late check outs, and a 2pm start, this was exactly what the doctor ordered. Endless plates of tender brisket, fall-off-the-bone ribs, and flavor infused sausage made for a satisfied body, and yet very uncomfortable ride back to Dallas. It was definitely worth it, though not recommended as a weekly or monthly event if you care at all about your health. I must say it is Atkin's friendly! The one down side is that there are only 3 types of meat for the Family Style All you can eat platter. A couple more items and this place would be 5 stars. Lick-Wilmerding M.E.A.T Club approves this restaurant. A must visit every time I go down to Austin.

This review is about their Restaurant Week Menu I had actually planned on doing the M&S in the Domain for lunch this week but won a $50 gift card for their Downtown location. The menu for this location wasn't posted so I assumed ( incorrectly) that it was the same one as in their Domain location. My mouth watered at the thought of the Hatch Chili Stew and Berry Crumble. But it was not to be. Don't get me wrong. We had an excellent meal and great service but I had to readjust my taste buds. Instead of the stew I craved I ended up with their house salad. Very nice, gorgonzola ( too much though) and candied walnuts ( yum!) and it was not over-dressed as often happens. Dinner was the beef medalions with mushrooms ( sorry not a fan of this veggie so I picked them out) and Israeli couscous ( wow! never had it and love it!). Tender! Flavor! Divine!. My friend had the flounder with the crab cake and lobster sherry sauce - again wow!!! Dessert - well it pretty much was a HUGE letdown. No berry crumble :-( Our choices were Lavender Sorbet w/ Strawberries and Creme Fraiche and Chocolate Cake. Unfortunately we were told when we sat down that they were out of the cake. Seriously?! We asked our server if she could substitute something else. We ended up with a mousse ( caramel maybe) in a chocolate cup with strawberries - yum! The Lavender Sorbet while it was a nice flavor came frozen like an ice cube and if it wasn't for the creme fraiche would not have been very good. I think if we had not had the $50 off I probably would have been disappointed. Given their stellar menu, they really could have come up with better choices for the restaurant week menu
