Scramblers
📍 Address: 567 E Livingston Ave, Columbus

Perfect pancakes EVERY TIME. Seriously. The pictures do no justice! And if you order a pancake meal, they're bottomless! They also have the best hash browns and French toast. You have to try them all. Scramblers is a good breakfast, brunch or lunch spot. It's casual, reasonably priced, service is quick and you'll always leave happy (and likely with leftovers because the portions are pretty big.) One cool thing to note: if your meal is served on "the blue plate" your meal is free! This happened to me and was a nice surprise.
Terry Black's Barbecue

Hands down the BEST BBQ I have ever had. This place is a staple in Austin. My friend and I waited on line for about 30 minutes and it was DEFINITELY worth it. This is a first come first serve so after you purchase you seat yourself. The restaurant service is a bit cafeteria style. I got the brisket. My friend wanted the turkey, but they were sold out so she got the brisket as well. We also got sides of corn, potatoes and veggies. Everything was absolutely delicious. The brisket literally melts in your mouth. I wish we could have eaten here every day. We tried several other BBQ joints and this was definitely the winner. I will be running back next time I am in Austin!

The wait is the only downside, but it's probably because the food is good, the prices are fair, and the service is quick! You get a real traditional feel to this place from the moment you walk in and it shows even further in the attitudes of the workers. This is one of my favorite places!

Nice place to get lunch within the campus center. Has seating, free WiFi and a few outlets. Food is pretty good! They've got a lot of healthy options.
Nature's Table Bistro

I stopped here for a vegetarian friendly sandwich and was incredibly disappointed by the quality of their only option. The Veggie wraps which are cut down the middle and presented nicely in the case, are much different than they appear. The 'half wrap' which I was given had plastic wrapped around it, which I quickly learned was holding in wilted lettuce in a soggy spinach wrap. Approximately a 1/2 cup of wilted lettuce fell out of the bottom of the wrap when I took the plastic off, leaving only a few slivers of vegetables and a small piece of cheese. I immediately felt like I was victim to a scam. They present a nice wrap in the case, and then stick something much different in a container and send you on your way. I spent over $11 on a wrap that was worth $0.75. Had I not already been in a different terminal when this discovery was made, I would have gone back to return the wrap and ask for a refund. It is so disappointing to know, not only are people being charged exorbitant prices, but the business is getting away with scamming people with their product. I will never eat here again and will make a point to stop by and complain next time I am traveling through the Atlanta airport.
Bauhaus Restaurant

Bauhaus was recommended to us as an alternative to Nightingale. Start to finish it was a horrific experience. Drinks took 20 minutes to make and the restaurant wasn't even busy. The food was extremely subpar. It certainly didn't match the prices. Our server was high. Fidgety, couldn't look anyone in the eye and mumbling weird incoherent stories. We barely saw her throughout the night. It was so bad that we had to just laugh as the evening went on because there was no end to it. I have no idea how this place is still in business, I would be terribly embarrassed if this was my restaurant. Don't eat here. Update: Nov 16,2018: Thanks Natalie for your immature response. Generally people don't use their actual names on public forums. Furthering that, being referred to one restaurant over another restaurant is fairly common. I have never left a review before because I have never felt the need to. For future, as a business owner it might be helpful to approach this situation without attacking the reviewer and by possibly saying: Thank you for your business. I apologize that the evening didn't go as planned. We're normally known for our....." you get the picture. Good luck with your business. I hear the restaurant industry is forgiving.
