Tassili's Raw Reality
📍 Address: 1059 Ralph D Abernathy Blvd, Atlanta
⭐ Stars:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.5)
This is literally the best food I've ever tasted in my life. Whether it's cooked, raw, vegan, non vegan, foreign food, American food....it does no matter, it supercedes it all. Tassili's is in a league of their own. Their wraps (and I've tried pretty much all of them) are all so very tasty and always on point. If you like spice with go with the South of The Boarder...I like something sweet to mellow it out (i.e bbq sauce or the corn and plantain) If you like something a bit sweet get the punany. If you're looking for something with alot of flavor...(foreign flavor) get the dat ish...add plantain on it to really take it over the top. And go with the mandingo if you're trying to feed multiple people. It can comfortable feed 4 adults and I'm not even gassing lol. But honestly anything you eat from there the chances of you being disappointed are slim. I live in NJ anytime someone I know goes to Atlanta I have them bring me back at least 2 wraps (or salads) lol and yes it's THAT serious!!!
Terry Black's Barbecue
📍 Address: 1003 Barton Springs Rd, Austin

We came on our first visit to Austin from SoCal and knew we wanted to try BBQ. Went to Franklin's as it popped up in Yelp first. The wait even before it opened was three hours and they weren't going to have any ribs left by the time we reached the counter. We went back to Yelp and found Terry Black BBQ. So happy we decided to give it a try. Equally rated and thousands of reviews were on point. The ribs and brisket were outstanding. The dry rub and sauces paired perfectly. Bonus there was ample parking, a short five minute wait in line and many tables available in an air-conditioned setting. So happy we looked a little further on Yelp to find this great place. Can't wait to come back!

Sri, one of the owners, reached out to me to apologize for the issue I had and invited me in for a complimentary meal for the Lunchdrop experience I had a couple of weeks ago. I tried their goat vindaloo, lamb curry, garlic naan and masala chai. They actually don't offer goat vindaloo but the chef was able to accommodate the request. It was flavorful and had a very nice heat profile. The lamb curry was tasty but on a much more mild side on the spice scale. The garlic naan was fresh out and was delicious! The Masala Chai was nice and creamy. They offered Splenda with it if you prefer it sweeter but I thought it was already perfect. The wait staff was very accommodating and attentive. They filled our water and asked how everything was tasting and if we needed anything else. This was a total 180 degrees from my Lunchdrop experience. I would recommend anyone to give it a try!

Cannot go wrong with this restaurant! Definitely one of my favorite from the Buckhead Life restaurant group. Calling all the cheese and truffle lovers to try the Cheese Katafi. Great service, food and ambience.
Top Burmese
📍 Address: 413 NW 21st Ave, Portland

So, I live NW and I'm craving samosas for lunch but I'm sick of the two mediocre Indian restaurants that I live near by. I search where else I can get a samosa from and see that Top Burmese has them. And they're also now located even closer to me, off 21st in the former Kim Jong Smokehouse location, so it's the perfect opportunity to go. Ordered the samosas (of course) and the tofu khao soi. I'm not vegan but in case you are or care, both of these items are vegan. The samosas are good, not like, the best I've ever had or anything, but they're crispy, tasty, filling and they satiated my craving. Now it's prob a bit sacrilegious for me to say as a Thai person, but this was my first time having Burmese khao soi... and I think I like it even better than your typical Thai khao soi. The noodle soup was simple, creamy and rich and hit the spot for this rainy day. Happy that Top Burmese is now in my 'hood and I look forward to coming back for more!

One of our favorite places to eat! Clean and with a good variety on the menu. All food well prepared, tasty. Our three generations can all find something we like to eat. Food delivered to table with a smile. Generous portions. Much better and healthier than the typical fast food establishments. Convenient seating. Pleasant staff. Good parking. I see many people taking advantage of the "to go" meals. Showcase well stocked if you are in a hurry. Use the app for a free dessert! Comfortable place to eat and chat or run in alone. Will be back. A+!
