horrible place. friday night, there were only 3 customers. service were great, because they have like 3 to 1 ratio between server and the customer. I ordered a couple of dishes, roti prata was big but bland. shrimp sambal, i think its more like sweet and sour shrimp. and the rest of the item, they don't have. the menu contains Thai and malaysian cuisine. there are too many restaurants who are trying to cover the entire list of 2 different kind of dishes and none of them can do either one right. they should've pick a handful of dishes that they can do well, than trying to offer 100 different kind.
Kkoki Korean BBQ

I am giving four points for the bbq meat. We ordered other things. I would recommend you to eat those other dishes at other Korean restaurants. Their specialty is the Korean BBQ. We only ordered one pork belly and a type of beef. The beef was very tender. As for the price, I'm not sure since I don't always eat Korean BBQ. Their meat is very fresh, though!

Definitely not most authentic food, but the wait staff is nice, the restaurant is clean and the food is fresh.

I ordered the scallops for entrée. Overall, it is harmoniously boring. The dish comes with brussels sprouts and is acceptably well-cooked, downside is that the sauce underneath the scallops is bland. Personally I prefer the sauce for scallops to be a little sour, if I cooked it myself I would just blend in lemon juice and vinaigrette to create layers that excites the taste bud.

Amazing! The biscuits are great and they have some of the best fried chicken in Portland.
Jam On Hawthorne

There will be a wait on the weekends (of course!) but it's always and forever worth it in my book. Jam is consistent about sending things out of the kitchen super fast, almost too scary fast but I'm a big fan (especially because if you've waited 30 minutes to sit down, your food better take less than that to arrive) I always get the same thing. El Paso scramble w/ sourdough. The servers are friendly, coffee and water are plentiful and the jams that are playing are almost always the ultimate jam. Fave place in town, suitable for all dietary needs (aka your real picky friends) and they've got some of the best brunch drinks around. Jams a winner.
