Barcelona Inman Park

📍 Address: 240 N Highland Ave NE, Atlanta

So excited to have another fun restaurant in Inman Park! If you are looking for a great glass of wine and fab tapas - this is your spot. That said, it's very loud and the bar area gets crowded most nights. Request a table in the restaurant side if you want to hear your dining mates. I've been a couple times with a vegan friend and they are pretty accommodating to adapt meals for her. Standard favorites include: chorizo with fig; potatas bravas and garlic bulbs. They also switch their menu daily based on season - if you see the pumpkin with honey or the brussels sprouts order them immediately!

Monika and Alex have made Europe alive and well right in Downtown Beverly MA. They are open and charming in every way both personally and professionally. The interior of the restaurant and the outdoor summer seating take you away to a place in Paris or Brussels. The menu is a fresh take on breakfast and lunch with light fare and farm fresh offerings. My personal favorite is the Belgium Waffle but I try to be good and move toward the Berry Bowl make with homemade granola and the most delicately whipped yogurt with honey. Amazingly fresh and healthy. I have taken to using this space as my office for many of my meetings. It just feels like family with the comfort of home and the elements of style from European bistros.

I suppose the first mistake was getting it "to go." It was our error that we over ordered on the sausage not realizing we were orderings pounds, not links, but they messed up the order from the start. They gave me the meat but nothing else. When I asked where the bread was, I was told I did not pay for it. When I said I had purchased bread, I was told that I did not but they would give me some anyway. When I told them I did not expect anything for free but had indeed purchased the bread (the bill was just south of $160.00), they realized that they had forgotten to give me all the sides. Speaking of the sides, that is the worst cole slaw & potato salad I have ever tasted in my life. We got pickles but no onions. AND NO BBQ SAUCE. I'm sorry, because everyone there seems like nice folks, but I will never understand why people think this is good food & I will never make the mistake of eating food from here again.
