Pip's Original Doughnuts & Chai

📍 Address: 4759 NE Fremont St, Ste C, Portland

Stars: (4.5)

I thought the donuts with various toppings and chai tea were okay. My fave donut was cinnamon sugar and the dirty chai. Both were sweet but not overly. I ordered The King and I chai tea with whole milk. Loved the froth and delicate balance of spices in this tea. No need for extra sugar.

I love this place! So many events, great drinks and food, makes this a gem of our neighborhood!

Gyroscope

📍 Address: 305 Huntington Ave, Boston

Tried this place for the first time today and was pretty satisfied. I got a falafel bowl and it's a generous amount of food that I was able to split into two meals. The staff was super kind and service was fast. The only complaint I have is that the falafel is really dry, definitely not the best I've had, but maybe they're still working on their recipes. I love the pita! It's different from other pitas I've had - it's thinner but stretchier and flavorful. Overall, pretty good! I'd go back but probably not for the falafel.

The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium And Savory Feast Kitchen

📍 Address: Universal CityWalk Orlando, 6000 Universal Blvd, Orlando

We came here last year and loved it! Came back again this year for my daughters bday again...and it was amazing again. Somehow we ended up with Lauren from PA again...and she might be the greatest waitress to ever live! Personal faves... Chocolate Bread with Salted Caramel Butter, Totchos, Brisket Meatloaf, and Confetti Cake Shake! Hands down best value at Universal Resort! A must visit every time we come!

Wonderful and friendly environment. The steaks were flavorful and the desserts were amazing. I really enjoyed this Canadian gem!

Pizza Bruno

📍 Address: 3990 Curry Ford Rd, Orlando

Pizza is my absolute favorite food so it kills me that I didn't love this place. The garlic knots were nothing special - basic rolls covered in garlic. I just don't get it? Buy a dinner roll from the grocery store and plop a pound of butter and 50 garlic cloves on top and you can make these at home. The hostess was rude, our waitress was forgot part of our order and always made us feel like we were asking too much of her anytime we needed a refill or simple requests. Probably the worst service I've had in the 5 months I've lived in Orlando! The space is cramped and awkward - I was dying to get out of there. The pizza was good but Midici in Maitland has better pizza and better service. I love the style of pizza (my all time favorite is Settebello in Vegas or SLC) but unfortunately this place is overhyped.
