Hooligan's Sports Bar and Grill

📍 Address: 8220 NE Vancouver Plaza Dr, Vancouver

Terrible service - took forever - got our order wrong - dirty tables - finally got correct order and then got sick from it that night - will never go back there and telling everyone I know too!

Lupo

📍 Address: 869 Hamilton Street, Vancouver

Stars: (4.5)

A cute little house serving up delicious wine, steak and cannelloni. The steak was surprisingly tender and doused in butter which of course made it that much tastier. The cannelloni was pretty good, too. The pre-meal olives were a nice touch; the pizza looked okay but I would choose one of the delicious tasting mains/pastas first. Seems to be an awesome date place, esp. if you get a spot in the window. The service was professional; the bathrooms were cute and found at the top of the stairs. As I mention in my quick tip, the "house" can be found in the heart of dt, and is a great stop on your way to a concert. Its ambiance is reminiscent of a SF eatery or perhaps a more traditional Italian trattoria (although fancy enough for a special date). Next time, we'll skip the concert and stick around for another beverage and dessert.

Carmelina's

📍 Address: 307 Hanover St, Boston

Amazing! Delicious! CA Bay Area visitor here. Came here based on Yelp reviews. Carmelina's is damn near one of the best Italian establishments I have visited. Service and staff was attentive and extremely friendly and attentive. Everything made hear is homemade (according to waitress). My wife and I brought our 1 year old. It was a tight fit but we all made it work for her in the high chair. My wife ordered the pea/ mushroom risotto and I ordered that Sunday special thing on the menu (sorry can't remember the official menu item names). We shared each other's plates and were super happy with the outcome. First, that Sunday plate is HUGE! Sausage, meatballs, a big rib, and the pasta!!!! I couldn't finish it but I gave it my best.... The risotto (only had one spoonful) was also really tasty. Wish I could tell ya'll more but all I can say is you won't be disappointed. We are going to try and stop here one more time before we leave Boston.

Rosa Mexicano

📍 Address: 155 Seaport Blvd, Boston

Rosa Mexicano turned out to be such a great surprise! My fiancé and I stumbled upon the outdoor sitting area while we were waiting for our boat to set sail in seaport and let me tell you what, it was everything we were looking for. Definitely wouldn't have been the amazing experience it was if it hadn't been for our waiter, Eli. We were so indecisive not having a clue what to get and he came through with so many helpful and detailed suggestions! The conversations were so smooth and effortless and his knowledge of the menu was unmatched. Even watching him linger from table to table in his section (I used to be in the industry) it was apparent that Eli is a top ranked professional. Communication skills and customer satisfaction abilities on point. Will definitely be coming back, will definitely be asking for Eli!

Tang Dynasty

My friends and I came in for lunch yesterday. After all the amazing reviews I had to give it a try. Mainly I was enticed here was for the XLB and I wasnt disappointed. Firstly, the service is amazing and they are very attentive. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel welcomed. We ordered the lamb fried rice, twice cooked pork belly, XLB, the sweet and sour chicken and egg flower soup. Everything was delicious and satisfying. We have definitely decided that this will be our go to spot from now on. I cant wait to go back and try other things from their menu.

Pancake Social

📍 Address: 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Ste 185, Atlanta

I had a pancake and side fried chicken. It was good. The pancake gave me Crackel Barrel vibes. I was disappointed with the hot chocolate. However the waitress was very good about accommodating us and didnt make is pay for it. (We didnt drink them). The fried chicken was a slice of chicken breats which was moist. I am going to try it again but get some of the more creative dishes.
