Amazonas Latin Grill

📍 Address: 8273 S John Young Pkwy, Orlando

Stars: (4)

Went here for lunch for the first time the other day and it was awesome. My wife who is Costa Rican also loved the food, she said with a mouthful of food "wow, this is some of the best Latin food I've had in a long long time!". Well with that being said, and me being whiter than white and thinking it was also awesome i think we have a new Latin food winner in our book that we will be visiting much more often. Only bad thing is this place is very well hidden in a shopping plaza and its location is somewhat off the beaten path, if my wife didn't know about this place prior we probably would have never know it existed, glad we found it! Also, the hours aren't very good, only open for a few hours a day during lunch, kind of weird.

Vincent's Italian Restaurant

📍 Address: 5914 N Orange Blossom Trl, Mount Dora

one star for effort, and one star for hope ! hungry ? you are not gonna die by eating here. price ? not good value. local business that surely needs your money and smile, but mostly needs your prayers for them to scrape by as they have. if you have money to invest, suggest to the owner you will only buy into the place if you can control the menu and quality of food... or things will obviously remain as is and folks "WILL SPEED drive right by KNOWING the place is there" ! your friends won't offend you by telling you the truth when you take them here, cause they love you and you like it. BUT, ask them if they want to go to back to THIS place or THAT ( another, any other ) place and see for yourself the results over time. track record both stable, and poor to fair overall. if the food was the bomb, nothing else would matter and it would be slammed... all the time, right ? lower prices and they could, or would (?), go outta business, maybe. higher prices would definitely erase them from market. SO... better quality kitchen output ( menu, cooks, ingredients = taste ) is the only option forward thru and into the future. imhho. humor me : then again... they could just serve the garlic knots and alfredo items and change the name to " Not Alfredo's Place " !!! right ? lol.

Neptune Oyster

📍 Address: 63 Salem St, Boston

Stars: (4.5)

Next time, I think we'll just order from the raw bar! The sampler we got as part of the Triton Platter was delicious! The oysters were by far the best, but of course you can expect that. The muscles and clams were great as well. The two seafood salads left a little to be desired, but the abundance and deliciousness of the rest of the platter certainly made up for it. We had a great server at the bar and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for the freshest seafood in Boston.

Portland City Grill

📍 Address: 111 SW 5th Ave, Fl 30, Portland

Stars: (4)

The views were incredible, the service was attentive, and until my main course arrived, the place was a 5. We got the steak and the salmon. The salmon was good, not outstanding, but definitely decent. The steak was HORRIBLE. I'd go there again, but will avoid the steaks.

Pho Pasteur

📍 Address: 682 Washington St, Boston

Stars: (3.5)

Pho Basil is okay and just around the corner from me, but I still take the little trip to Pho Pasteur for the best Pho in Boston. The giant bowls are awesome. The service is always good, no complaints there.

Mikado Sushi

📍 Address: 13586 Village Park Dr, Ste 306, Orlando

Stars: (4)

This restaurant deserves 2 stars because, first off we asked the server if they had a kids menu and the server gave us a rude smirk and looked at us like we had 5 heads! The sushi was good but did not make up for the bad service. The clear soup had a fishy taste. Then we see our server hand out hot towels to everyone and did not give us one hot towel! There was also a child at another table watching videos and it was blasting loud. No one that worked at the restaurant said anything. Would not come back and is very disappointed.
