This place is in my neighborhood and I'm disappointed in myself that it took me over a year to try it. Came by on a Friday night without a reservation and the parking lot was packed. We waited maybe 5-10 minutes inside for a table. There was a very pleasant woman who maybe was the owner who made us feel very welcome when we arrived. She seated us as soon as a table was ready. We ordered drinks and they came out with a basket of delicious buttery garlic knots. The menu is expansive and I had to make a game time decision. I wanted to go with a classic type dish so I got the chicken cannoli with red sauce. It was amazing; full of chicken with a great marinara. My hubby got the shrimp Parmesan which he loved. They definitely don't cheat you on the shrimp. The shrimp were plump and plentiful. We both had enough leftovers for a full meal the next day. When we exited the same nice woman (?owner) asked if we had enough to eat lol. I felt like I was at grandmas house. I'll be back to try the chicken pesto pasta and more garlic knots. Everything we ordered was delicious. The wait staff was attentive and helpful without being intrusive. Oddly, I think my favorite thing was the kids' menu. It exists, but it's super-basic. It helped my kid explore food without feeling like he HAD to, because he had his little bowl of plain pasta.

I'm in luv with ambience and outdoor dining, especially during summer. The warm breeze and outdoor seating area makes a perfect dinner. Add for the food, we went by a previous review recommending the crab dip. However, it was too cheesy for us but was ok. I guess not our liking. The lamb are top of the line, juicy and tender. Creme brulee was delicious. We did have a minor bad experience in the food but they were generous to take of that, which makes ne want to go back again just cause if the exceptional customer service.

If I could give no stars I would, I asked for a low carb option, but they had no clue. So I asked for just teriyaki chicken. So I received the equivalent of a thigh of chicken in a giant bowl. What a waste. I should have taken a picture. Was not amused to pay $8.50 for $1's worth of food!

Don't order takeout from this place. The estimated time says 45-60 min but my food came an hour and a half later. I got an omelette with white toast and my roommate got pasta. Both dishes were cold!!! I had to microwave them! My omelette also didn't come with the correct side. Clearly this cafe likes to take their time.... It isn't worth it. The food was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth the time or all the trouble. I won't be ordering from this place again.
