The south end has lots of great restaurant options and Masa is a perfect fit. I like the southwestern style theme for the food and the drink menu is unique too. I've enjoyed a nice dinner here but the real reason to come to Masa is for the brunch. $7.95 for the fiesta brunch which includes coffee/tea, corn bread (delicious), an appetizer, and an entre. Get the huevos rancheros or southwestern eggs benedict. This is the best brunch deal in Boston hands down. I've been wanting to come for 50 cent tapas night on Thursday too. This is a must if you are looking for a great brunch option in Boston.

I came here this past Saturday for my birthday brunch and had a wonderful experience! I was in town from St. Louis and was by myself. My waitress (man I wish I remembered her name, but she had dreads, if that helps) was extremely welcoming, helpful, and friendly. All of the staff were very nice and courteous. I ordered the fried green tomatoes, a mimosa, and the chicken and waffles. EVERYTHING was delicious! The tomatoes were thee (yes, thee) BEST fried green tomatoes I have ever tasted in my life!!!!! I think everyone else's version of the dish is playing for second. Seriously, they've got you beat! They're served with fresh marinara sauce and are made with a nice cheese. The chicken and waffles took a rather long time to arrive, but also were very good. I was pleased with both dishes, and the complimentary bread basket of a biscuit and cornbread completed the meal nicely. I really enjoyed my time here and highly recommend you check this place out! And you absolutely have to get those amazing tomatoes! In a town full of fantastic southern cuisine, this place stands out with a nice, laid-back, yet trendy charm.

My husband and I are betting that as cute as this restaurant is, it doesn't last. For the price point, there are better "Parisian Portland" restaurants to be had, like St. Jack or Little Bird. The service is good, but the dishes left us wanting something more. The lamb entrée was completely out when we arrived at 6:30PM. The $12 cheese plate had 3 different cheeses, each piece a half teaspoon big. The gateau dessert is served with ice cream, but when it arrived it was dried out and the ice cream was the smallest dollop, which was gone within one bite. Tip: Ask to sit away from the windows or avoid going on chilly days. The walls of windows let the cold draft in. Even though they have curtains to block it, all the people sitting next to the windows either had their jackets on the whole meal, spent their meal adjusting the curtains to keep out the draft, or asked to be moved away from the windows.

When I walked In. There was not a long line ( which is a plus ) and the menu is informative. They have a great choice of bagels ( duh ) and got to know the product through their selection. I ordered one bagel and an ice water. The bagel was perfect. Service was efficient and staff was Informed about the product. :) Great experience.
903 Mills Market

Cute location, especially on a breezy day. Staff was friendly but the food was just alright. I ordered the breakfast bowl which was fine but just a bit too cheesy for my personal preference. We also got the big mills breakfast which was pretty underwhelming. The hashbrown and small pancakes looked like they came from the frozen section and we could have just made them at home. I'm actually pretty sure an old roommate used to buy those same hashbrowns. The bacon was thin and chewy. You could tell most of the meal was microwaved. The sausage in the big mills breakfast was also not very good. It was different from the one in the breakfast bowl. It was a nice place to sit on a cool day though.
