As all the reviews indicate, be prepared to wait for a while. Arrived to Neptune expecting this however what I thought would be 1-2 hours turned out to be close to 3 hours. We put our names down on the list and walked around the city waiting for the call. Lots to see in the area so the wait doesn't seems so bad unless your already starving like my party was. The front end seemed disorganized but I disregarded this as the employee was new- we've all been there at one point in time. We got seated at the bar towards the back of the restaurant which was nice away from the bustle of the front restaurant. Seating is for about 40-45 diners which explains the long waits! The food was divine- the best seafood I've ever tried!! Our table started with oysters. We were given a card with the oyster offerings for the day describing the flavours and origin- helpful for those who are not well versed with oysters. While waiting, the oysters were shucked in front of us. Next, was the Clam Chowder. I am surprised more people haven't reviewed it/order it. Creamy and velvety with generous chunks of clams. Last but not least, a Lobster Roll had to be ordered. Buttery goodness dripping out of a sweet soft bun served warm with a side of fries. The fries were good but nothing to rave about. All in all our table agreed that the oysters and clam chowder were the meal highlights. Service was great. Seated at the bar, the owner was serving us for the night. Friendly, he explained the process of catching the seafood for the day and recommended some amazing local beers to try. The food was also paced well. As soon as one dish was finished the other was brought out. Beer and wine are the only offerings for alcohol. When recommending this place to friends and family with fair warning of the wait time, I am always greeted with shock that i would wait that long for a table. Would I visit again? YES!

Came here looking for a late-night dinner after a long day of driving a moving van cross-country. We were there at 12:15 EDT and the posted hours were until 1 am, but the entire place was closed and dark.

It was awesome! Great crab roll and the New England roll was excellent! The dining area was spotless and has a great atmosphere. A very nice touch was that although you're supposed to pick up your food when you number is called, the wait staff actually brought out to the tables the food when they could. Nice selection of Maine soda and the chowder was awesome!

I went with a fairly large group and yet the food was awesome for all of us, and surprisingly brought out within a minute or two of each other so we all could eat together. The menu is impressive. You can order combos, a la carte, and regular dinner items. There seem to be several drink and dessert options as well. My only complaint is that the tables are fairly crammed together so there isn't much room to move around. I get that turning over as many tables as possible is how a restaurant makes money, but this seems especially tight.

Everyone's Yelp profile includes a field for 'My Last Meal on Earth'. Mine says lasagna, but it could just as well be spicy noodle soup and Yakitori Jinbei's ramen version would do just fine, thanks. Their spicy tonkotsu ramen has just the right velvety consistency to the broth, the right texture to the noodles and is spiced right where I like, which might not be for everyone but it isn't the spiciest soup town either. I've been here three times now although not in a while. They have never disappointed. Not only is there ramen stellar - and getting better, I think? - but I really like the teriyaki yakitori. Always good service here.
