While it had been a while since I tasted Bouldin's espresso drinks, I decided to give it another shot. I had a cappuccino today and thought it was better than I remembered. The foam was nice and thick and the taste of the beans was good... however, while it is better than I remember, I still stand by my original post I think that the espresso is not quite up to par with other coffee houses in Austin. That being said, EVERYTHING else at Bouldin makes up for it

Gimmick. Weird. Not a great doughnut to start and then loaded with weird. They serve pretty incredibly stale product. I had to give my chocolate bar back and ask for another doughnut because the outside was literally hard. Whatever.

My cousin and wife from England were in town and wanted to try some southern food and I have to say that I loved the chicken fried chicken, the customer service was excellent and would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

The view is really amazing. The Bloody Mary I ordered was not... But the appetizers we ordered were great, including an arugula salad and mussels.

I'm going to give Mary Mac's a mediocre rating because it has been hit and miss for me. Sometimes I go there and the food is on point -- but here lately, I have been disappointed. On at least 2 seperate dining occasions, my food has come out cold -- a big no-no for me! Not to mention, I think they should just take mac n' cheese off the menu, because they do not do it any justice (sorry guys!). If you can't get mac n' cheese right, something is just wrong!! I stick to the basic baked chicken and dressing as my main entree and usually get a side of green beans and corn. Nothin' to write home about, but it's a pretty decent meal when you're really hungry!! I will give them an A+ on their sweet tea and lemonade mix which is dee-lish... (back home in memphis, we call this the "VIP").

Sunday "brunch" after golf was great. Super food, eggs Benedict with asparagus and the plancha burger with fries were excellent. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the cocktails go out. We will be back.
