Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken
📍 Address: 117 San Jacinto Blvd, Austin
⭐ Stars:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.5)
W O W, as a first time Austin visitor, Gus's was the place to go.The chicken is some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned with a lil' kick, thin and crispy skin, juicy and tender meat made for some damn good fried chicken. The sides were nothing too noteworthy, but went well with the chicken. I suggest the mac and cheese, fried okra, and coleslaw. Oh, and don't forget you get literal loaves of white Wonder bread with your meal. The overall ambiance, service, and food were a solid 10/10, now I just wish Gus's would make it's way over to Denver (please).
Gourdough's Public House
📍 Address: 2700 S Lamar Blvd, Austin

Gordont's!!!! Just left the restaurant. Six minutes sitting at our table with no connection other than, "it's open seating," from one of the female employees. Three employees total behind the bar, all on their phones, never once came over to greet us or even say "we'll be right with you" or even "hello." This was our fourth time at Gourdough's, definitely our last. Sad, we liked the food. Sorry, we won't visit your truck either. Done.
Nature's Table Bistro
📍 Address: 6000 N Terminal Pkwy, Concourse E Centrepoint, Concourse E, Atlanta
⭐ Stars:⭐⭐⭐⭐ (3.5)
If you are flying international (like Terminal E) or if you have plenty of time for your next flight, I would definitely recommend this spot. It's so much better than the others around from the cost and flavor and freshness point of view. I don't wanna be judging, but it's really cheaper and ore worthy and a good option in the airport. I had a rice & chicken bowl. The chicken was half mustard chicken and half sth else (forgot... but yummy, you can ask for a bite if you are not sure of whether or not you would like it). As for the salad, I had the tuna pasta. I may not be a big fan of the salad as it is too creamy for me, but they definitely gave me a big chunk of salad. i may order some more sth more veggie-ish next time. Anyway, highly recommend this, and this gave me so much comfort as I missed my flight...
Blue Star Donuts
📍 Address: 1155 SW Morrison St, Ste 102, Portland
⭐ Stars:⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4)
Visited for the first time & they were really good doughnuts, freshly made with quality ingredients. The doughnuts are big & heavy, so all you need is one for your fill of sugar goodness. Tried the Raspberry Cake with pistachios (very good), Blueberry Bourbon Basil (basil tasted weird too me) Original Glazed (good), & the Old Fashioned (the best).
Medina Cafe
📍 Address: 780 Richards Street, Vancouver
⭐ Stars:⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4)
Every time I've decided to check out Cafe Medina there has always been a wait. This is always a great indication of great food, service, and overall quality. Their waffles are a hit and you have to try the lavender sauce to accompany it. Love their coffees and overall ambiance. The women's washroom also has an inspiring quote! If you love brunch, you must check this place out. Great range of choices and quite reasonable prices.
The Melting Pot
📍 Address: 1200 Commerce Park Dr, Longwood

This was our first time eating at this location. We really liked that they allowed the guest to order from the regular menu for Magical Dining. We were seated at a table with two burners so we were able to order more than one favor/style based on the amount of guests at our table. Taylor was our waiter and he was personable and funny. We had an awesome dinner!
