Food was delicious, everything we tried was top notch. Wait was a little long, and felt like prices were slightly high for counter order/buss your own tables joint. Will still come back for the pornographic cheese melts under the heat lamp at the counter(see biscuit pix ), but I can't give 5 stars for a $30 brunch with no actual service staff.

Best takeout subs and decent takeout pastas. Do not come here for a sit down meal, the space is small and can get crowded with take out lines. Come here to grab a chicken parm, meatball or steak sub to go. The huge subs (I think they're longer than a foot) are served on really delicious, fresh Italian bread. Homemade sauce, fresh cheese, good quality meat - I've never had better sandwiches. You can easily get 2 meals out of a $10 sub. If you're going for pasta, they make a great pesto sauce. Decent side of meatballs as well. They did not used to accept credit cards, but they do now.

service: good in that our orders were correct and brought in a timely manner - kudos to the kitchen for this as well. bad in that i seriously thought the waitress' boobs were going to pop the buttons off her shirt and that i might break a tooth from accidentally biting down on this button. and she got in my personal space wearing perfume. normally, i'd say too much perfume - but any perfume or cologne is too much. i am one of those freaks who thinks wait staff should never wear anything that interferes with the scent of the food. sorry, it's a part of dining whether i'm paying $3 or $30 per plate. food: short version - go for dessert long version - we ate a chewy chicken app. it was called coconut crispy something... but it wasn't crispy, just stringy and chewy. i had the glazed pork chop, the mrs had a green salad + grilled chicken. mine looked beautiful. nice and fat. leaned up against the mac and cheese. perfect grill marks. i have a trained monkey who can make pretty marks on things. you want to borrow him? enough on the looks. taste. this chop tasted like.... wait. let's do an exercise here.... lick your computer. any part. what does it taste like? not much? maybe a little meaty from having your hands on it all day? that's about what this chop was like. no discernible glaze. no discernible flavor. the waitress made a deal out of asking me how i wanted my chop cooked - it's not often a place will ask you to what doneness you'd like your pork. i was pleasantly surprised. she suggested medium, so i said politely yes, it's nice to know you offer that. thinking to myself... hell yeah. i did me some moist pork. it came out well done and dry of course. the "glaze" was a thin brown color liquid that pooled under the meat. booos all around for the pork chop. the green beans on the side were nice enough. the mac and cheese was pretty good too if you like yours on the flour-y side of things. dessert - we had a warm tollhouse pie a la mode. flavor was pretty good, but the texture was butt. it crumbled all over the place. this is the only thing that saves the place from 1 star. good flavor on the pie.

Acceptable. Periodically we get discounts off the bill and I don't know why. Maybe it's because I'm pretty darn good looking.
