I love this place. Since I live only down the street it has been my early morning "hangover" remedy since I moved here last June. The prices are beyond reasonable, the food is pretty good and the service is excellent. They also expanded the space for extra seating so the lines outside the door aren't as long. I appreciate everything this place has to offer. Check it out, it's worth it!

Being regular Home Slice customers, my girl and I have been watching this place from across the street for some time now. There's usually a line out the door adding to the mystique. Finally went in there the other day upon seeing no line and split a burger to see what they hype was all about. First thought? Who serves draft beer in a huge, heavy margarita glass? I'm sure they think it's hip or unique. It's just inappropriate. Wrong glass, the end. Burger was good. Excellent bacon on The Classic. Pretty good fries. But just good. Nothing excellent here. What's the hype all about? Love the concept of their high quality and local ingredients. Poor customer service, however. Once we finished our burger and we were finishing our beer, we were basically hurried along and asked to move to a different table in the corner if we planned on staying any longer. The hell, Hopdoddy? I'll go elsewhere next time and get an equally good burger with less hype.

Ate here about 6 weeks or so ago on a Sunday, when they only offered $7 small plates. Wife and I were fine with that, and got 7 of them. 6 would have been sufficient, but we were just guessing. Calamari was excellent, so was the seared tuna (be sure to have them sear it on outside, keep it raw on the inside). I could have eaten 4 or 5 plates of that tuna. Also got some traditional Greek puffed pastry thing that had ground lamb in it, and goat cheese on it. Forgot what it is called, but it was tasty--and filling. You'd definitely want to get a plate or two that are nice and filling. I think that one plate was pita and 3 or 4 'dips'. This one fills you up pretty good too. Another plate was some kind of giant navy/lima bean type of things, and these too were quite filling. We didn't get alcohol, and it came to $49, which was quite reasonable. We just got a $100 BL card, so we'll be back.

I've been wanting to check out this restaurant and last night I finally did! I was expecting it to be super packed on Saturday night but it wasn't at all. It's quite beautiful inside and has a bit of a rustic feel. The dim lighting and great music really added to the chill ambiance. For food, my boyfriend and I ordered the beef empanada as a starter. It was UNREAL. So flavorful and crispy. The beef was so tender and juicy. Since I love beef so much, I also ordered the beef roast dish, the Asado Negro. I HIGHLY recommend this dish. It is the cheapest dinner dish on the menu ($14.25), yet I don't know how any other dish could be better. The beef was covered in a dark sauce and came with rice and plantains. I made sure there was nothing left on the plate. It was all so flavorful. As for the service, our waiter was very kind and quick! Everyone was super friendly there. I can't wait to go back. Even though this restaurant is a little pricey, the quality of the food really makes up for it. I think it's totally worth the price! Definitely try this place out.

Food: 3.0/5.0 Service: 3.0/5.0 Value: 3.0/5.0 Decor: 3.0/5.0 Overall: 3.5/5.0 Decent Indian food but nothing to write home about, with dinner tasting roughly like what an above average buffet spread would be. Not worth coming all the way out to JP unless you're close by. There's a convenient municipal parking lot right behind the restaurant.

Pretty solid all around. Glad I found it. Extra spicy wasn't exactly extra spicy but that's a small problem. Great flavors, good service .
