Greens and Grille

📍 Address: 11325 University Blvd, Orlando

Stars: (3.5)

Eat "The Pig." There's nothing better than a little swine on swine action... pork loin, caramelized onions, bacon, and a lime dressing.... and the mac and cheese is awesome.

Portland City Grill

📍 Address: 111 SW 5th Ave, Fl 30, Portland

I don't know what some people are talking about when they say the food isn't all that. I personally thought the food was amazing as did my girlfriend! The restaurant is pricey but the view is spectacular for dinner and the food was worth it in my opinion. The staff is very friendly and our food and drinks came out in a timely manner. Even though we didn't get a window seat, we were still able to have a great view. 10/10 would nom nom here again! Perfect spot to take a date ;)

This place is amazing and the wait staff is very attentive. They have a family-style menu, so sharing is highly encouraged! The atmosphere is welcoming and urban. I just Love their potatoes bravas - I encourage you to try this!

Portland City Grill

Probably the best Bone In Ribeye I've ever had in Portland. Hands down. Next would be Ringside. Aside from that, the happy hour is allllways clutch! Cheap but awesome dishes, drinks etc. Great place to come have drinks after work, or on a weekend. Some of the staff is a little uptight and asshole-ish, but whatever. I dont go there for the staff. I go to enjoy my food and drinks and go home. This is a great place to take a date, as an fyi fellas ;)

Murphy's

📍 Address: 997 Virginia Ave NE, Atlanta

I wish we had a Murphy's in the SF Bay Area! It's a rustic place that feels like home. There's a wine shop in the back (they have a great wine list) and on your way out, you can drop a $1 in a mason jar to take a cookie from the cake platter by the door. I shared the apple salad as a starter and Guiness braised beef brisket with horseradish mashed potatoes, roasted carrots, green beans as an entree. I preferred the beet salad my colleague had over the apple. The latter the ratio of feta to lettuce/apple was out of balance. The braised beef was delicious albeit very rich. The beans were perfectly al dente. If I could go back, I would get the arctic char or spicy shrimp and grits. We had room for dessert: banana bread pudding, apple tart and the spiced pecan sweet potato pie. The apple tart was my favorite -- the butter, cinnamon and brown sugar melted between the layers of apples knocked my socks off!
