Winter Park Fish Company

📍 Address: 761 Orange Ave, Winter Park

Stars: (4.5)

Best seafood restaurant in Central Florida! We love coming here! Ordered the black grouper with black beans and rice and shared a lovely carafe of red wine. Highly recommended. Oh, also...try the salmon and jalapeño starter dish. Fantastic.

Urban Farmer

📍 Address: 525 SW Morrison St, 8th Fl, Portland

Stars: (3.5)

This place was highly recommended to us by a local who praised their "farm to table" philosophy. The atmosphere was quite unusual for a restaurant of this type. It feels like you're eating in the courtyard of a Embassy Suites hotel with a clear view of the ceiling roof with the view of the room surrounding us on four sides. Once you get that out of your mind, the music and decor makes you feel like you're in a contemporary and modern restaurant. You almost feel like you need to dress up but I saw people wearing shorts there. Because it is a steakhouse, we ordered the rib eye and the New York and both were cooked perfectly. The waiter told us that due to the lighting of the restaurant, the appearance of your steak may look overdone but it is cooked correctly. Sure enough he was right. I was very impressed with the sides. We ordered baked potato, seared greens (carrot and sweet mustard onions) and green beans. The quantity and food quality was unbelievably great. We also had the crab cake and heirloom tomato salad. The salad was to die for however the crab cake tasted like most other crab cakes I've eaten. Prepare to pay a fairly big price as with 2 glasses of wine, the bill was $170 but I felt that considering the tremendous care they did to prepare the food and how fresh it tasted, it is worth going there.

Marco's Cafe & Espresso Bar

📍 Address: 7910 SW 35th Ave, Portland

Stars: (3.5)

This place is LEGIT! We came here for breakfast and I was left satisfied and smiling. They have a good sized menu with regular breakfast staples like pancakes but you can also go a little fancy. I had the special that included eggs Benedict over polenta with avocado and chorizo. Wow! The service was great and the atmosphere comfortable. You may need to wait on a weekend morning if you don't get there early but they keep people moving through and any wait is worth it. They even have complimentary coffee inside the door while you wait.

Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse

📍 Address: 930 SW 6th Ave, Portland

Stars: (4)

Fogo is my go to place for quality in consumption. I prepare myself days in advance. The quality of the meats, and the pristine salad buffet add an upscale aire to what is truly an animalistic indulgence. Our server, Dan, went above and beyond to uphold this chains sterling reputation here in it's new Portland location. He is a straight shooter with upper management written all over him.

99 Restaurants

📍 Address: 10 Main St, Stoneham

I've been a fan of the 9s for more years than I can remember. While on a visit to NE my cousin recommended we meet here as it is near her work.. I arrived early so I could enjoy an adult beverage at the bar, have some popcorn and catch up on Monday night football. The 9s have always had decent pub food, good drinks, and good service. Check, check, and check.. I started with the seafood chowdah and my entrée was the baked scrod. Both were fine. Service was spot on throughout. The 9s has always been a great place for a few cocktails and a decent meal, it's great things have not changed after all these years.....
