Sabrozon Fresh Mexican Restaurant & Catering

📍 Address: 17770 Pilkington Rd, Lake Oswego

Stars: (4.5)

I might start by saying that the food here deserves 6 stars. The only complaint i have is that they close too early for us to visit very often due to our own later working hours. The range of salsas is amazing.. The dishes are fantastic hand made works of edible art. Decor is simple, as is the seating, but your not here for the sights, you come for the flavors and aromas! Mmmmmm The place appears to be run by small family size staff, just like so many little mex places i found in LA when I was down there. Food made with love... Don't miss this modest little place. Its worth the drive from anywhere in greater PDX, just check the hours for dinner service before you drive and find them closed.

Canton Buddha

This is really good Chinese food. If you like New York Chinese food you will love this place. I ordered the beef and broccoli dinner. It was a hug potion, nicely played and great flavor. My friend had the pepper steak dinner and enjoyed it but stated the peppers were cut too big and hadn't cooked enough. My next trip to atl I will be returning.

Java Noodles

📍 Address: 2400 E Oltorf St, Ste 14, Austin

We ordered through GrubHub, Went with the beef rendang and sambal tahu with tempeh instead of tofu. It was not indicated if rice came with the entrees. So, we got a side and ended up with at least a pound and half of rice! The beef, slowly roasted, is a rich curry and it's excellent. The sambal was equally tasty in a bath of coconut milk and spices. Get it with the tempeh instead, it's similar to tofu but nuttier. Definitely recommend Java Noodles if Thai and Indian food is your jam!

Sugidama Soba & Izakaya

We saw the sign outside and went in without any expectations. It was around 6:30 on a Sunday and the place was full. The hostess was on the phone for a while before she helped a bunch of people in front of us to a table and finally we were seated. I love the decor. Tried a few things on the menu and the yakitori (got the beef one) was awesome. The portion is too small though, three pieces of beef for $4 something. The HOMEMADE soba noodles were yum, the broth is fish based and was delicious. We also got miso soup and it was pretty decent. The Philadelphia maki was well made and all the ingredients were fresh, you could tell. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because of the hostess who took forever to seat us everything else was great our server was super nice too. Will def be back to try other things on the menu.

Used to be my go to place for years, stopped after the fire damage years back. Checked it out twice this year....everything was just average or below. Not worth it for me...will go elsewhere.
