Frasca Food and Wine

📍 Address: 1738 Pearl St, Boulder

Really a let down. Ate with them when they visited ft33 in Dallas and had high hopes for the main restaurant. Service awesome. Wine program great. The best part of dinner was the German reisling the som suggested to start. Food was total let down. Esp at the price point. At best only half the courses were great. Pasta courses were beautiful to look at but horribly executed. Whoever is making their pasta is failing. Very chewy, almost like amateur home made pasta. The lamb was very poorly paired with an overpowering amount of sauce. The desserts were pretty good. I would go back for the wine program but honestly wanted to walk next door for pizza after.

Miko Sushi Japanese Restaurant

📍 Address: 1335 Robson Street, Vancouver

Stars: (3.5)

Miko Sushi is the bomb!! For downtown Vancouver I think the prices are really good, (Everything downtown is pretty expensive.) My wife and I really love this place. It's small and not very fancy at all. We might have passed right by had our hotel not highly recommended the place. Now everytime we are in Vancouver we ALWAYS eat here. One weekend we ate here 3 times!! I haven't found better sushi in North America yet. I would put the quality up with Sushi Ran in Sausalito but for half the price. Almost forgot, the Kobe beef and spicy scallop roll are big favorites for us. Be careful, there is a place just around the corner named Miku Sushi. Not related at all. We tried Miku Sushi once and I feel we spent way too much for what we got. After over $100 in food and drink we actually ended up walking to Miko Sushi to finish our meal.

Artu

📍 Address: 89 Charles St, Boston

Stars: (3.5)

Food is horrible. Came here on a Friday night, the lasagna was frozen cold. Everything else had excessive salt and to top it off, the older waitress was rude and acts like this is a 5 star restaurant on Park Avenue . Don't bother with this place, not worth the $. Glass of sangria is $14... girl... bye!

Buffet Palace

📍 Address: 12570 SW Center St, Beaverton

Stars: (2.5)

After reading all the bad reviews I was hesitant of eating here. But it was my familes pick so I had no choice. We had a party of 16, and the guy said it'll be a 20-30 minute wait. We waited for only about 10 minutes which was great! There were so many varieties of food. Even choices for the kids! Chinese, Japanese, and American. There were 4 rows of food! Crazyy!! Everything was really good, the food was always fresh. The employees were constantly checking and refilling the entrees. My favorite there was the general chicken, and miso soup with steamed rice! Can't go wrong at this buffet for only $13, and drinks were $1.25 with free refills! I was stuffed to the gills! You have to try here for yourself to see if this place is for you, even after reading the bad reviews. I'm not from here but if I was I'd probably eat here at least once a week!! :)

Chart House

📍 Address: 60 Long Wharf, Boston

Stars: (3)

I wanted to go to Legal Seafood for classic seafood, and as there was too much wait we ended up going to the Chart House despite the bad reviews. I had the trio of soups as an appetizer - it was the best lobster bisque I ever had! The coconut shrimps as an "entree" were very good but I would recommend sharing or taking only the appetizer portion as it is huge. The appetizer with tuna, avocado, mango in a pyramid was very good and refreshing too. The service was good: the waittress didn't come too often nor too little. I will definetely go back.
