Beware!!! Bugs in the food!!! I just had the most disgusting experience ever in a restaurant: I was a couple bites into my doughnut when I noticed there was an ant fried into the top and instantly lost my appetite. When we went to immediately leave, the cashier told us it was a fly, not an ant, and only discounted one of our two adult and one kid meals ($34 rather than $51), despite our not being able to eat dinner because of how grossed out we were. She also made no attempt at an apology or understanding, but was very rude to us. We will never go back, and ask you to please warn others about their making you pay for bugs fried right into the food! Avoid them at all costs, and spread the word!

The food tasted really good. Wish they had more dairy free options, but I understand it's not really what Italian food is. The manager came over and offered to help us with our youngest who had a dairy issue. I asked for lettuce on the side for my toddler and the waiter said no they don't have any fresh lettuce to put on a kid's plate as they have the salads all Pre made, but never asked the manager to see if that was ok. Anyway, I get a salad and they do have large romaine leaves around it... but it had dressing my toddler couldn't have. He did get her a plate of plain spaghetti noodles and chicken which is all she wanted and she loved it. Portion for her was huge. I think they just misunderstood how much I was talking about and that it should be on one plate, not two full ones. Anyway, besides that odd incident... the food was good. Service was lacking as they were busy. I would go here again though. Just could be a bit better on the service department.

if anybody here is from back east and can agree that Popeye's just doesn't satisfy that hole in your soul that has been there since you've last seen a Bojangles, or Chik-fil-a... then look no further. this Place flat out rocks. the sweet tea is just right, the sausage patties are delish... and lately i've been sticking to the "mcisley" sandwich- biscuit with fried chicken, pickles and honey. its mind-bending. Just put this place on your short list for future breakfast runs.

had no idea what greek pizza was until I moved to MA, so always looked for a joint that reminded me of my north jersey roots, at least from a slice style perspective, and they do not disappoint, thin style, good crust (ny style if you call it that but just pizza to me), $5.95 for 2 slices and a drink (check the plexi glass on the left to see what slices are there, chicken and brocolli, spinach and feta, peppers and onions) slices are big and man they hit the spot, something about twice baked pie makes it right, check the calzone of the day for a good deal as well. solid place, and busy keeps it fresh

Rontoms
📍 Address: 600 E Burnside St, Portland

Rontoms is a nice place to grab a couple of drinks while chilling out back on the huge patio. There is ample seating for large groups, but you would have to come before it gets dark. The drinks are priced about the same as the places along E. Burnside. I have been there many times and while the people are laid back and nice the service is nothing to be desired. I was there yesterday with friends and we ordered another round of drinks. Our waitress comes by with our bill and "forgets" to put our order in. I would have given Rontoms 4 stars because of the fun atmosphere and amazingly cool patio but the service laggggs in a terrible way. If you aren't in a hurry and you want a chill spot to hang out, go to Rontoms.
