Ordered the bulgogi kimbop and it was pretty good but I did feel it was rolled slightly poor considering that the filling started spilling out the second I picked it up but other than that it was good. Also ordered the dduk boki and I definitely expected there to be more dduk it but sadly it was mostly ramyun and fish cake. It had good flavor but I only got 4 pieces of dduk then a bunch of ramyun. I will probably try again at some point. Tl;dr- not great but worth a shot. EDIT: I forgot to mention that I had ordered it for delivery from a third party site. I tried my best to not base my review off of that. I definitely would have handled the situation differently had I been in-store.

WOW.this place was seriously delicious. the name "cactus club cafe" is deceiving because it sounds like it'd be basic but it definitely was not. everything i ate was perfect.we had the calamari, the truffle fries, and the cajun steak with prawns. again, everything was....fantastic.never had a steak with cajun sauce like that and good lawd, i will probably dream about it. i'm from los angeles and the sauce reminded me of boiling crab. i'm so inspired to make this myself at home.also, that blood orange margarita is a go-to for happy hour. just do it.
Harlow

We just love this place. We had the Harlow Ranchero this weekend with Jackfruit and it tasted like pulled pork, without the heaviness animal products bring. I feel so good after eating there. It reminds me why I love eating healthy food. It's a very busy place so come early, but even with a line out the door we found seating easily and our food was brought out very promptly. Seriously, The only way I get through my week eating healthy, is when I remember I get to reward my self with Harlow's amazing breakfast on Saturday mornings. I strongly suggest Harlow (or Prasad, which we also love) for everyone, if you care about food, that is.

My search for authentic Indian food in the Boston area is over. Ever since moving from NYC, I have been in the search for good authentic Indian restaurants and in the course of the 3 years that I've been here, I must've tried every single Indian restaurant in the Boston/Cambridge area and many in the suburbs...This beats them all hands down. I have a very high benchmark for Indian food being that I am of Indian background and was brought up in India and then there was NYC that had a nice group of authentic Indian restaurants that I got used to from my time in NYC. Notes:1. Friday and Saturday nights are packed...especially with Indian patrons (always a good sign). I look for this in Chinese restaurants too. If you go there these two nights, better be patient. Our party of 8 was there for hour and half, but we didn't notice because we were enjoying the food and chatting away. 2. Try Indo-Chinese & South Indian items like Dosa, especially if you have never tried them before. 3. Ask them to make everything spicy. It doesn't come out 'hot', but rather comes out very flavorful. However my spice tolerance might be higher than average yelp reader. ;-) 4. Try Indian beers!!!! Flying Horse is my favorite! 5. Hariyali kebab was awesome to go with beer. I am planning to revisit soon and order different items. I'll let you all know.
Brookline Lunch
📍 Address: 9 Brookline St, Cambridge

This place is a hidden gem. The food is probably closer to 3.5 star quality for the price (it's not exactly cheap) but it has a great hole in the wall vibe, the couple who runs it is so sweet and remembers people who come in a lot, and the seasonings are very flavorful. I'd recommend their huevos rancheros or just their eggs+chicken+french toast. The chicken in particular is very juicy and is very flavorfully seasoned. Warning though: Sunday the line is out the door.

MY FIRST TIME! AND I DIDN'T EVEN GET ICE CREAAAAM--gotta save a little something for my next visit ;)Their menu is HUGE with tacos, burritos, burgers, chicken, wings, Mediterranean/gryo, salads, hot dogs, tots, onion rings, and of course all things ice cream (shakes, cones, floats, banana splits, sundaes, malts, and the list goes on and on). Here's what we had today: -foot long hot dog: topped with chili and coleslaw. the wiener was a little too mealy and ...um..soft....but the chili and coleslaw added good flavor -buffalo chicken quesadilla: flavorful if not a little too salty, but melty cheese, chicken, and hot sauce! and next time...allllll the ice cream for a more in-depth review!
