This was my 2nd visit and it was much better than the 1st. The restaurant was packed and the parking lot was over extended. The valet was clearly flustered, but friendly and apologetic. We had a reservation, thankfully, but still had to wait a little while for our table. I would not advise coming on a weekend night without a reservation. Our server, Matt, was exceptional. He was timely, knowledgeable, considerate and friendly. I highly recommend requesting him as your server. We went straight to entrees, the pork chop and the chicken. Both were excellent and worth the price. Everything on the menu is pretty pricey, but worth it for an occasion or special night. They also offer a great selection of gluten free options with a separate menu. This isn't a place to visit all the time, but I will return again for a special night.

I hate this pizza hut. The problem is I love pizza. The standard pizza hut pizza is pretty good. But when you have a staff of under 20's and people from other lands that have no passion for the trade or any care to actually put in an effort, you get a failing Pizza Joint. Besides the incorrect orders, poor assembling, surly attitude, and general nincompoopery I could see my self ordering from here again. But not for a ha wile. Also it takes them far too long to deliver to my house. I AM 400 meters away. Over an hour!!! No F'n way. I have my finger on the pulse of the industry. I am not being difficult. Simple orders, non-game nights, no excuses. Cheesey jems in the crust. Hotdogs?? Who are you joking. Anyone ever get a stuffed crust pizza and the cheese inside still melty. Hell no its half full of white milk flavored rubber. Just make a dam pizza. Oh and their breadstix that were once the benchmark can now be used to make a bench. They suck too. Wings hella bunk. They have a lunch buffet, but i wouldn't go. That is saying a lot. King J.

I usually judge coffee shops on the "Three C" system. Those three c's are "Coffee, Computers, and Comfort". Coffee, obviously refers to how good the coffee is. Computers covers the amount of tables, whether or not they have free wifi, and how many electrical outlets there are. And finally comfort, referring to how the space feels. Palio is damn near close to hitting a 10 on all three categories. The coffee tastes great. Admittedly, I'm not huge into coffee culture. I just know when a cup of coffee tastes good. I order black coffee wherever I go, and Palio has good drip coffee. 'Nuff said. I did wish that they had free refills though. Refill charges bum me out a little, but I understand. A lot of places are charging these days. This place was practically built for working customers! It's great. I don't sit and read or chat too often in coffee shops, so I'm just looking for a place I can plop down my laptoppy. The back room is just full of large tables, each one with a electrical outlet AND a power strip, and it's always quiet. It's kind of study room for Reedies, but there's usually one seat available. As far as comfort, Palio feels nice. The walls are never bare, they feature local art often. And there's enough decoration and smart use of space to help you breathe easy. My one reason for bumping it to 4 stars: there's a slight passive aggressiveness here. There are signs up stating that there is a certain amount of time you should be seated before you should order something. This is probably referring to poor college students looking for a cheap place to study, but it makes me feel weird. Is a drip coffee enough payment to allow me to stay an hour? Do I have to buy a pastry too? If the answer is yes, and I do have to buy a pastry, then I probably wouldn't complain. Those pastries and desserts are a new category altogether. Super super good. Come here for dessert late at night, but don't be loud, people are studying.

I went to a party last weekend and they ordered take out from BHOP. I had never tried Sicilian Style Pizza before. Never even knew it existed. Am I the only one? It was so good. It's like a deep dish, but even better. Layered thick with different cheeses, sauce, thick crust. I could only eat 2 slices, one of these pizzas could feed a small army. I was very impressed. After trying it at BHOP, I would recommend it for anyone looking for pizza. If you're never tried it, you owe it to yourself to give it a try. The location is fantastic right on Galen St. just outside of Watertown Square on the Newton side of town. I'm not sure about the prices because I wasn't the one who ordered, but my friend who was hosting the party swears by this place. I will definitely be heading to Boston House of Pizza again very soon. Mangia!

Probably one of the worst meals with awful service to match. Will never go back. Can't believe this is in a MARRIOTT hotel. The food was so overcooked ... salmon turned into shoe leather. Steak had no flavor. Chicken was ok. One in our group was given a mad look and rolling of the eyes because he told the chef he didn't want the darker sauce but rather double yum yum sauce. We all heard him request it except the chef. I have a shellfish allergy and was given soup with a shellfish base...luckily the waitress told me not to eat it (she's the one who gave it to me). Thankfully the other ppl at our table were nice and we all got along well.

Our waitress Cora was very nice to both my wife and I (best waitress I've had in this place). The restaurant itself is a bit pricey for what they offer. Had a tomato soup and a clam chowder, both were delicious. As a main dish my wife had cajun chicken which was ok, nothing special. I got a top sirloin steak which was far from ok it was a bit burnt on the outside. Overall a pleasant experience but as I say is a bit over priced.
