I can't believe I haven't written a review for Dot's yet. Dot's is sort of an icon of Southeast Portland! What's great about Dot's: good food, good prices, great for both veggies and carnivores. Whichever you are (I'm the latter) make sure you try the herbed cream cheese with the veggies they serve on the side. That cream cheese is just AMAZING! Food favorites: The cheeseburgers are decent, the turkey sandwich is deliciously amazing. Good, not great fries that'll do the trick for those late night I'm too drunk to care munchies, and the hummus platter is always a winner. Cocktails: pretty good, not the greatest, a little on the high-priced side if ya ask me. Atmosphere: Phillip J. wrote "Dark, Funky, Local." That sums it up perfectly. Great place to go with groups of friends, not overly loud, not awkwardly silent. Bottom line: great fall-back place if you want to keep it local, intimate and still cool.
Boston Tea Stop
📍 Address: 54 Jfk St, Cambridge

This place is pretty good. Their milk tea are up there with Kung Fu Tea and Chatime. I had a Jasmine milk tea with half boba and lychee jelly. The drink hits all the right spots with the tea flavor and milk blend in together. The boba ball is just about the right size that I want it to it. Not too big, not too small and it's very chewy. The lychee jelly are hard and have a strong flavor of lychee in it. The shop is a bit run down and getto looking. It's also very small. I definitely will stop by this place more often when I am around Harvard square.

I take my formal review BACK! I went today to get breakfast because I needed to go buy groceries and I regret it sooooo much! I got my order and took it home and to my surprise I see MOLD on my biscuit sandwich. Who serves MOLD!!!! How disgusting! I returned to the store mad as hell wanting my money back. All I did was show the sandwich to the manager and he went to speak to the employee who made the sandwich. All I wanted was my money back. He said that it wasn't moldy it was just a little old. ummm I think I know what BIG GREEN/BLACK CIRCLES are on bread, MOLD! How dare he and he only wanted to return part of my order. I want ALL of my money back! What makes you think I want to eat the other sandwich coming from a dirty establishment like this. AVOID THIS PLACE! I WILL NEVER RETURN! Such a shame because it used to be good food.

We were seated in a booth in the corner. It smelled faintly of feet (kind of like a movie theater). We waited 10 minutes without being acknowledged by a server. I just wanted to get our drinks and at least some waters. I waived down a random server to inquire about our server. It turns out she was our server. Was she just going to pass our table without acknowledging us? Even if she were busy a "I'm sorry I'll be right with you" would have sufficed. She seemed scattered and didn't offer refills on our drinks. The restaurant itself is large. It has a separate dining area and a separate bar section. It's well lit and clean. I ordered the ugabreakfast burger. It was large, juicy and filling. It was very satisfying and tasty. I also tasted the hudson burger which was equally as good. Minus the service, i'm a fan of this local sports bar. The burgers were on point. I'll be back
Chipotle Mexican Grill
📍 Address: 60 Newport Ave, Quincy
⭐ Stars:⭐⭐⭐ (2.5)
Standard Chipotle fare. Good food, good value. I can't believe this location has survived as long as it has. This is one of a few cursed locations in Quincy which seem to have had a revolving door of businesses over the years (the old IHOP near Quincy Ctr, the building across from the Uncle Sam billboard other corner of Newport & Beale, etc.). So they must be doing something right if they made it at their current location.

One of my favorite places in Portland! They have cozy booths, which are not easy to find in this town. They have decent food - vegetarian/vegan/meaty. Cheap beer and awesome lime rickey's if you don't want booze. Their cheese fries are so hard to resist, especially with the spicy tofu dip. The waiters are all super friendly and it's generally not too hipster-y, so I always feel comfortable hanging around for awhile. The one thing I can say is that I will love it a lot more in January when smoking in bars gets banned because it is insanely smoky sometimes - the smoking section is really the bar section and there is no real separation from the nonsmoking section. I've sat in the nonsmoking area and had someone in the smoking area holding their cigarette literally 12 inches from my face. I'll be going a lot more when I don't have to deal with that. Great place overall - I think I might head over there right now!
