My wife and I went back to Mantra to give it another shot and we had a wonderful evening. The service and food were both top-notch. Our waitress was extremely attentive. I ordered rack of lamb which came in a generous portion and was cooked perfectly. We had several varieties of naan and also had samosas which were excellent. We had a table against a wall which made for a relaxed place to eat the meal. The subdued lighting was just right.

Awesome brunch restaurant. We ordered the patatas bravas, polenta with short rib, and steak frites. Bloody Mary was on point. Staff was great. It is busy so we opted to stand and eat which was fine for us. You can call ahead if you want a seat.

Easily the best and more importantly, the most consistent Chinese food around. We have lived in the area for 13 years and have tried all the other restaurants with mixed results. Golden Jade has been the only place we order from since we found it. We host a large Christmas day party every year and everyone raved about the food this year. Each dish was fresh, well prepared, and abundant. Every order we have ever placed has been accurate and delicious! Occasionally there has even been a little extra sample of something new for us to try. Golden Jade is one of those places where you can just tell they care about the quality of their food. As an extra bonus, the people who work there are extremely nice and friendly. Update!!!! 5/1/2013 --Still the best!!. The food is always freshly made and delicious!

The service of Anikan, around 5'9" guy, was extremely unprofessional. We got the receipt with "Do not come back". This was a horrible but truthful experience ever in a restaurant. I was considering to order pork(豬肉)fried rice or roasted pork(叉燒)after seeing the options on their menu. Finally I ordered pork fried rice, but they gave me roasted pork. I made sure the fried rice I ordered was PORK kindly with smile. Anikan's attitude was giddy and arrogant answering me that, "this is our pork." I said politely, "but I saw two clear options on the menu tho." He said giddily, "it's impossible that there are two options." He still sent the plate back to the chef with obvious complaining and blaming face as I intended to make troubles. So when he came back, I just said, "I can take that, it's fine," cuz I didn't mean to cause issue. After he checked the menu, he just walked away carelessly without showing any guiltiness. His attitude stank our meal seriously. We all felt incredibly speechless on his attitude. Finally, we got the check with 18% included tip with four people. We got mad. We asked Anikan about the tips with regular attitude. After all the tips do not make sense at all. He said that is automatically charged by the system with his arrogant attitude again. I said but I don't wanna give that much. He said then clean up the tables yourself then you don't need. Our anger had already accumulated till the peak! NEVER heard this before!!!Even we didn't get four spoons after asking for three times; his attitude eliminated his tips already. Anyway, after the short but bit loud argument, we got the receipt removed the 18% tips with the sentence "Do not come back"! What the

Spot on for vegetarian food at?a fair price, actually much cheaper than what we have here in PDX. The owner is very sweet and honest, appreciate?that they are not using garlic to enhance the smell and taste. The parking situation can be problematic, a small space, so be careful.
