Overall, this place is great. Upon sitting down, they're on coffee detail and are on top of refills. The "eggs your way" with the corned beef hash is my favorite. Their corned beef hash is out of this world. The wait staff is very friendly and welcoming. I'm from out of town but always make a point of coming here fore breakfast at least once per visit. This is the best breakfast place in Charlestown.

Mini Burgers Rule! I've been dying to come to Match but I refuse to pay full price for the burgers when I know I can get them for $1 if I just go at the right time. And that right time happened to be Saturday night at midnight! Our whole party got a bunch of mini burgers and a round of drinks. The bf got some martini with a giant ball of ice. They brought a tiny shaker with it which we figured was more of the martini. Well it was the Coke to mix with the liquor which evidently was the only thing in the glass. After a couple of extremely strong sips and asking for more Coke, the waitress explained the shaker was Coke and he needed to pour that in. We'll have to watch out for that next time. The burgers were great, and the drinks were good. I still don't think I'd ever go when you had to pay full price for the mini burgers, but that's just me being cheap!

Got in line at about 8:40am on a Saturday morning and was able to get into first seating, no problem (party of 2). Food was amazing! Highlights we're definitely the biscuits and venison gravy and the steak and cheddar eggs with polenta pancake and jalapeño butter. Soooo tasty. We also had the potatoes bravas and the lemon ricotta pancakes. Was great. Everything is served as it comes out, which I love.
Redbones BBQ

I can't believe Redbones is only rated 3.5 stars. This place is awesome. Delicious BBQ and also a bar you can get a drink at while you wait. When I lived in Somerville I'd go once a week because I loved the food and the vibe so much!

Although it wasn't easy to get a table, the wait was ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. We got in line around 10:30 a.m. on a Sunday for brunch, and waited about 30 minutes to put our names on the list. They told us it would be about 1.5 hours until our table was ready, but they do take your cell number so you can do other things while you're waiting (LOTS to do and see in the area). We ordered a variety of items, and every single one of them was outstanding. The service was great, too. This place is definitely lives up to the hype.
Flour Bakery + Café

The vegan chocolate cupcake is to die for! It's moist and delicious without being obnoxiously sweet. This is one of the best vegan desserts I've ever had and paired perfectly with fresh coffee. Flour offers free wifi, so I was able to snag a window see and enjoy some Back Bay people watching while getting work done. I haven't tried the rest of the menu (which looks interesting,) but I definitely would come back just for the cupcake alone!
