Nice, new Italian restaurant. Greeted by friendly staff. Then greeted by long hair on the bread plate. The bread, a focaccia, seemed stale. Didn't eat it. Waitress was super friendly and wicked good. Menu had lots of options. The food was okay. The desserts very small especially for the price of $7.95 each.

Great neighborhood bar. Unfortunately not my neighborhood. The bar is great to grab a small bite to eat, duck fat fries, Mac and cheese, smoked wings. Just be prepared to deal with some drunk locals and regulars that think they own the joint. Didn't give me any heartburn but I'm just sayin.

I come here every few months or so because my arteries need that time to clear out. The side effect of such a huge burger..soggy-ness. Yes..it gets soggy, real soggy. If you get the Thurman or Thurmanator..it'll be meat soup in no time. Surprisingly, burgers here are always cooked a shade more than I request. So I order it medium rare and it comes out perfect. I prefer the Italian sub here. Loaded with all the cured meats and a toasted bun..it works for me. Go during off times..lunch and dinner will make you wait at least 45 minutes to be seated. Bar is fair game. Service is a bit slow, but let's be honest here, I didn't come to be pampered. I came to sink my face into something magical and wash it down with a relatively affordable beer. I almost killed my egg-allergic cousin here, so for those who have egg allergies..tell them you want a special patty made.

The view is amazing. It's a quiet place with a fairly intimate feel. The food is very good. I've been here for lunch, dinner, happy hour, you name it. They have amazing calamari. The happy hour applies to food prices, not alcohol. If you're going to venture here for HH, you might be fighting for a table. The window seats are, of course, the premium seats and everyone wants one. It's totally luck of the draw in the bar. If you make a reservation in the restaurant, you should be able to secure a window seat.

Good food! We came here for Portland Dining month. For 33 dollars you should not pass up this deal. Too bad tonite their cheesecake was out. The replacement of creme brulee was superb!
Lincoln Tavern and Restaurant

We were unfortunately not so fortunate to experience the high quality food of Lincoln when we ordered via a delivery service (the restaurant was a 15 minute walk but we were babysitting). Suffice it to say the food experience was woefully less than we were expecting and when I commented via their website I got a phone call and on the other end a lady was telling a colleague about my note and belittling me because we had had a negative experience with the Chef's at Capo not recognizing our requests for allergy free dishes, and were served and consumed same before discovering that the allergy free meals had been switched in the kitchen. All in all it has been a very bad experience made only worse by un-informed people making rude comments about me to colleagues while not realizing I was on the phone, after they had called me. Our feet will never grace these doors again.
