Lamberts Downtown Barbecue

📍 Address: 401 W 2nd St, Austin

Stars: (4)

Best brisket I've ever had in my life! I love TX bbq and when we were in Austin, we went with friends to grab dinner. The wait was about 1.5 hours but if you're on the list they will text you so you can leave and grab a drink before your meal. I ordered the brisket and it was so good I didn't even use the sauces they had at the table. The sides are family style so make sure you're aware of the size. I'd definitely eat here again, it was awesome. If you don't like loud music (band upstairs) or are trying to find a place for conversation, this prob isn't the place.

Mad Hatter

📍 Address: 969 Washington St, Weymouth

This place has good food at good prices, and great customer service. Aside from the waitress checking on us, the owner came over to say hello and make sure we were satisfied with the order.

The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium And Savory Feast Kitchen

📍 Address: Universal CityWalk Orlando, 6000 Universal Blvd, Orlando

Delicious and so worth the wait! I had an incredible gin cocktail and a delicious chicken sandwich. While it was a little lacking in salt, it definitely was well cooked and delicious. The staff was very sweet and attentive and I got chocolate covered strawberries and macaroons to do which were delectable!

We stopped by here randomly for lunch. Excellent handcrafted red sauce on the veal my husband ordered. My shrimp scampi was good quality. Authentic service. Great lunch!

The Brewtorium Brewery & Kitchen

📍 Address: 6015 Dillard Cir, Ste A, Austin

Stars: (4)

Brewtorium is the newest brewery to open up off of Airport Blvd, and they're doing something right! Its down the road from the Blue Genie, and walking distance from the Metro Rail. Its in a large warehouse transformed into a cozy, but spacious interior with a back beer garden. There's ample seating and its a great space for celebrating either a birthday or event. The food is eclectic for sure, German Fusion Cuisine-pot stickers, flammkuchen (flat bread pizza), burgers, and salads. I just want more of a selection of beer, IPA's specifically. But, I'm sure with time, they will start expanding their menu. Great hangout if your nearby!

Mother’s Bistro & Bar

📍 Address: 121 SW 3rd Ave, Portland

brunch at noon. salmon hash for my companion. huevos rancheros for me. 30min wait predicted. and 30min wait was had. we walked around to some of the retail shops nearby. the one shop had TONS of records and rock-n-roll t-shirts. my meal was very good. i like torillas. i like eggs. i like all the other stuff on there. but her salmon hash was more wet and gravy-ish than what i would think it should be. but it was good salmon. breakfast is my favorite meal. i wish i could eat breakfast food all day long.
